:j Congratulations to XXXXXXX
Marg He was very disappointed :rotfl:
Louby Glad little one is better today. Can you ask if the oils have different ingredients. Just explain that he was poorly last night so you want to make sure it wasnt the oil that caused the reaction. Your not accusing them of anything. You are just wanting whats best for your sonMaybe do the massage without any oils ?
JHB Glad youre getting out and about. I used to work in a chippy and it didnt put me off chips either. Like you say when you get free food its often hard to say no
Dragonllew Hope all goes well at Physio.
Tired Mum Hope the accounts add up nice and easily then you can have abit of you time. I used to dread paperwork for accounts.Sorry to hear youve been hurting. But glad your feeling better. Did the flowers turn up that i posted for you ?
Padingtondoo Hope your grey turns to shiny silver real soon. We are all here if you need us :kisses3:
Thrifty No he wasnt happy :rotfl:and yes i am .. Going out for lunch with a friend to celebrate :rotfl:;) DS has a couple of exams coming up soon too. It did say on the radio that it was just the 6th form building and that as far as they are aware no coursework has been lost, so that must be such a relief for them all.
papillongirl2 How did DD get on at the hospital ?furrypig says:my name is Choccy and I am addicted to nose free stamps as I want to save them all and give them noses!!!:rotfl:
About me. Im Choccy or Chocolate orange depending on where i am.Yes occasionally i am a total looon who spends too long online, but no where near as much £ as her spendy elves do ..:D0 -
Morning all
hope everyone is ok?
Congratulations to *~~~~~~~~~~~* well deserved winxx
Rainmac - I don't even know why I thought it!! ... maybe they should give them contraceptive devices that Melissa has just invented to all of these teenagers :rotfl:
Dragonllew - Good luck for your physio, is your pain easing any? hope you are ok xx
Louby - Ouch your little one looks so sore! My guess is that it looks like an allergic reaction of some kind! hope he is ok today.
JHB - Well done on the weightloss, and good luck for your course!! :j
Padster - Sending the blue skys and white fluffy clouds your way, you know where we are if you need anything xxx
Mumoffour - Are you still looking to do craft classes at the hospital? I have a box full of things which I was going to RAK on craftyplace, but if you are still planning to do things with the hospital then I will happily box it all up for you? can you let me know please. (It would be a heavy box and would have to be sent by courier)
Choccy - Sorry to hear about the school, I mean how awful having to look after children when they should be out from under our feet :rotfl: hope you and the boys are all ok, I must put credit on my phone and call you soon! xxx
Can't remember if I have missed anyone? ...
I am hurting loads still, really sick of all of this pain and got in the car this morning to take DS to school and realised that I can't drive, I am hurting too much in my leg to press the clutch down!! so major panic as I need to push myself to work through the pain so I can pick DS up. I can't walk to school cause of the pain so I use the car which is now causing pain! Anyway the good news is that we went to visit the diet woman yesterday to swap over some soups that are awful, she offered to weigh us both .... so after 2 days I have lost 6 1/4 llbs!! :j after 2 days! OH has lost 7llbs but she says men lose it faster! I am chuffed thoughRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
:j Ooooh, thank you Padster - I didn't know about the win. I've only just come on here (first thing I check!) so hadn't seen it. Wow, I think I must buy a lottery ticket this weekend :rotfl: .
I was out in the garden all day yesterday as it was such a lovely day again, although I did get around to ordering my new batch of PMs, didn't manage to do a card though. Also had a delivery of a new MS edge punch yesterday from Craftology, £11.99 and came within 24 hours :T, my friend wanted me to order her one and it seemed very rude for me not to order one at the same time.
I've been doing a quick catch up,
Paddington Sorry to hear about your grey cloud, hope it lifts soon and that you are OK.
Louby - so sorry to hear of your LO's rash - very worrying, but am glad he is better today.
JHB - my d-i-l works in a chip shop, they're the best payers around here! She used to work for us when we had the restaurant, doing the cooking with my DS, but since we retired she's worked in the local garden centre, cleans a couple of holiday flats, does the lollipop at her younger childrlen's school and now the chippy instead of the garden centre (garden centre paid less than minimum wage  but she couldn't report them as it was attached to a DIY shop which supplies DS with a lot of kitchen/bathroom/tiling work).
Tired Mom Hope your pain eases soon and that your appointment sorts you out.
DTB - Good luck with the promotion application - what a palaver!
Hope I haven't missed anyone out.
My d-i-l was "ordered" by the health visitor to attend a course by CAMHS to do with her DS or they will no longer help her. She's so mad at the lack of help over the years so went along this morning, marched in and told them she wont be attending as she's already done it and "What help have I had from CAMHS over the last few years? It's 3.5 years since his case worker visited, his follow up appointment with the pschologist for the next month never came and it's now 12 months later. Another appointment we couldn't attend was never rescheduled despite a promise of it being scheduled for the next month"...... and so on. She even gave up on her application for DLA for him because she couldn't get a diagnosis - he has this, no he hasn't, it might be that, it could be the other... blah blah and no follow up. My d-i-l is a mouse, an absolute tiny mouse who wouldn't say boo to a goose. Goodness knows what made her kick off this morning but I'm so proud she stood up for herself. Anyway, they said to go back at 12.30 and they will sit down with her, go through everything until they get it sorted and give her a list of contacts. Erm.......... cynical - moi????? but I can't help wondering what they'll fob her off with this time. We'll see.
Sorry, went off on one there. Must go and do what I didn't get around to doing yesterday, I think it's something to do with the bathroom - oh yes, I must clean it. And go and choose my digi images I won :T.0 -
Rusty OMG thats FANTASTIC
Well Done you !!!
I will give you a ringfurrypig says:my name is Choccy and I am addicted to nose free stamps as I want to save them all and give them noses!!!:rotfl:

Lou glad to hear DS is better today. From experience (have 4 children) I would say it def an allergic reaction. Like you mentioned either the abcterial cleaner for the baby mats or the oil. Did you lay DS on a towell from home as if you did & he's obv fine with the detergent you use I'd be more inclined to say it was the oil.
This needs mentioning at the next class not for any reason other than they make sure it's noted down not to use/give this on DS on further sessions but it's also been helpful to you as noting down the ingredients you have been alerted to ingredients which aren't good for the little one so as to avoid/eliminate, assuming it def was the oils used.
Anyway taking of my parental head...
Hope everyone else who's poorly, stressed, feeling a bit pants, under the weather feels better very soon.
I am farting around ( we use that phrase here so I've not stolen it ) at making a newspaper style birthday card in the style of it's all fiddle fart whose blog I love. Hope I do it a little justice though once I 'get it' I should be OK for future cards, well see as this one may not even go 'into print'
Raining here & the cat needs food so best I venture out very soon.0 -
Louby, it could well have been an allergic reaction to the oil, so glad the rash has gone and your lil one is ok xxx

OMG Choccy! Thanks for the pics. We had similar here a few years ago it was a very old primary school that my Mum & I had gone too (Mum was born in 1926) & the replacement building is horrid looking. They found the young boys who'd done it.
