I've been offered a few hours a week at the local chippy (wish me luck with the diet, lol!); and while DD is working and paying me board I've worked out that I can manage okay for a few months until hopefully the job market picks up. So, I've signed up for a guitar course (free) and will hopefully be treating myself to my first-ever sewing machine next week. I'm going to try to go all-out for a few weeks crafting for the craft fair in June, and hopefully then set up a Facebook shop.
That all sounds fabLooking forward to seeing your Facebook shop, I'll be wanting some felt things please xxx

I wondered if it was anything to do with baby massage this pm. the oil, the mat he was on could have been cleaned with chemicals or he did wee all over himself as they made us strip them for the entire massage, i did clean him but he didn't have a bath before it all started:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boysWant to be fit for 30 not fat at 30but i want never gets!!!0

Louby.....My dd has severe eczema....so severe infact she is on a medication to supress her immune system......my signs are....a raised small blister rash these bilsters are quite often filled with a watery substance.....
Your ds rash looks nothing like her eczema......it looks like a bad reaction....this could be from a sofa....the massage oils etc.... is it burning to touch....i mean is it warm??
Sweetie......give the on call dr a ring....or the nhs helpline...(thats what they are there for and get paid £52000.00 p/a) Ask for some advice!!!:jIm going to be frugal:j:DIm going to be frugal:D;)Im going to be frugal;)Beetlejuice Beetlejuice...................:rotfl:0 -
Louby if your worried go get it checked out don't risk it, That rash looks so sore!
Little Miss never had any symptoms of meningitis by the way (im not saying it's that and sure don't want to panic you but you mentioned you did the glass test)
Keep doing his temp every half hour and check for wet nappies (if you can catch some urine incase you take him in)GC July: £0/£1200 -
Louby - that rash looks so sore!:( and I must say I have no experience but it looks more like an allergy to me. If you are worried in the night I'd phone for an emergency doctor rather than take both children to A & E. (((hugs are for you!)))
DawnTeaBag - good luck with the job app - it's surprising what you'll think of/see when you look again tomorrow.
JHB - Good plan! Enjoy the summer and being creative & with a bit of luck the right job will turn up when you're not trying. Lok forward to seeing your makes.
Rainmac - I hate not having my car even though I don't go far.
I'm forgetting now what I read earlier but ......about DLA - just as you can ask to have your own claim looked at again you can also ask them to look at anyone else's claim if you think they aren't getting the correct level of benefit.0 -

Well it looks like i will have middle DS with me tomorrow and after bank holiday..Eldest DS came home about half an hour ago and said he had a tough job getting home as all the roads around here are closed. Turns out that middle DSs school is on fire . Now last time this happened was 5 years ago and the kids were off school for 10 weeks. Not sure on any details yet but what a mess.. All the kids were on facebook very excited and there were a few pics on there. It looks as bad as the last fire which ruptured a gas main and did lots of damage. I really feel for the year 11 that have exams soon ( DS is year 10 )

aww sorry i didn't want to worry anyone. Hope you are asleep now. He woke about 11.30 and i could give him another 2.5 ml of calpol had 3 oz of milk and 1 oz of water. Fell asleep while feeding him. woke again at 2.30 had 4oz milk and now he is just finishing off another 4 oz. His back is now almost back to normal it's just gone very dry and flaky. I am leaving it until we get up again before i put anything else on it. Thank god i have all these lotions and potions for him.
He goes to the derm in july which is ages to wait, my hv asked me to go to the gp the other day with his skin and he just said carry on with what i am doing and wait for the apt.
Thanks everyone. Best put him back and get some sleep before i have to be up at 7.:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boysWant to be fit for 30 not fat at 30but i want never gets!!!0 -
