Gemm I bought my Robbie from there, they were very quick and I got a hot foil gun as a freebie. Not had cause to use it or the Robo, bless it, it sits next the computer and never utters a peep. :o

That, it! Wifey off to UKS and see if that there lady is still about and get some lessons.

Ok what a day you all seem to be having. Its taken me all evening to catch up and I've only been off less than 24hrs.
Rusty - I'm so sorry to hear about your pain. I know you have probably tried pretty much everything, but does things like TENS machines help at all? I find they are more of a distraction from pain because you feel the buzzing but at least that better than concentrating on the pain. Also relaxation music on my ipod to keep me distracted. Its hard when you got kids as well, you just want left alone at times and it hard not to end up screaming at them. Sending huge hugs and positive thoughts.

Thrifty - You have my full support over the DLA nightmare. I applied for a view as I first was awarded because of my deafness whilst I was able to work. I've been medically retired from the NHS for 5 years now because of stress trying to work while deaf. The DLA didn't consider I was any worse and wouldn't review my claim. I now have vertigo, tinnitus and am profoundly deaf and this year they finally reviewed it but still awarded me less than another girl in my town who exaggerated her claim so badly I would be embarrassed and disgusted to send it in (Sorry, but really it not fair when people get more then they should and the rest of struggle to get anything).

Big hugs to everyone else as well as we all sound we like we need it.

I made some post it covers yesterday which I was quite pleased with and a birthday card this morning (but not sure I like it!). Been struggling to get dh accounts sorted out (which is why I'm on here instead, lol).

really need to free myself up some crafty time as it the only time I don't feel stressed. I'm using the Bach herbal rescue spray to try and keep calm but honestly the rate I'm going the bottle isn't going to last long :rotfl:

Then to wind me up the postie shoved a postcard throught the letterbox saying I've to got post office as I've a package with inadequate postage on it. Someone underpaid by 15p so I've to go and £1.15 else they won't deliver my package

Hmmm I'll sort out postie tomorrow and demand some craft time. ds wants to paint dragons when he gets home from nursery tomorrow so that could be interesting ;)

Hugs to all and positive thoughts flying through the interweb to all who need them.

    Nici x

Well I had an "episode" today - we bought one of those things that attach to your bed to stop babies rolling out - well it took me an hour to make - I was getting so frustrated that I felt like throwing it out of the window - I'm normally quite calm but this thing sent me psycho - must be my time of the month. Anyway I'm better now - even though it didn't fit the bed in the end anyway!!!

Midnightraven - can't wait to see your finished anniversary card now - I hope you'll show us! What did you order or have you forgotten?

Rusty - I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling better - I hope you get something sorted soon.

Thriftyscotslass - well done on completing the form - I had to fill them in for my sons (they have learning difficulties) so I know how depressing it is. I'm really sorry to hear about your OH's job - the uncertainty must be horrible.

The-Wife - sorry to hear about your friend - I suppose the only thing you can do is be there for her if she needs to talk.

Lyndach - your cookies look delicious.

Emmabo - what a fantastic surprise for your friend!!!!

PepPop - that cake is fantastic - I want it - I love the muppets - I had a crush on Kermit when I was little.

    NuttieNettie - 15 for £15 is such a bargain!!!!!

Dragonllew - gorgeous dragon card - I love how you've distressed the edges and then added the glitter. Your magnolia card is lovely too - I love how you've glazed the flowers.

CraftyJuJu - your star bracelet is stunning!!!

Hi all, I've got my car back tonight but it still isn't fixed :(. The 3 tyres have been sorted and they know what the problem is with the suspension and have ordered the parts but I have to wait for them to arrive and be fitted. The car is driveable and safe but noisy but I am so glad to have it back for the next few days! The walking to school is wearing me out so not much energy for much at all. I have made a box with my scoreboard today and I am thrilled at how easy it was, it was amazingly simple :)

Sending hugest hugs to all those that need them - Rusty, JHB, Thrifty, dragonllew, TheWife... Isn't life just carp and unfair sometimes :(

JHB, is there any voluntary work you could do that may lead to a job?

Rusty, glad the card arrived, hope your appointment comes soon xxx

Choccy, get the blooming machine out of the box NOW!!!

Marg, yes you did say thank you, looking forward to getting yours :D

Padster and mumoffour, I will be sending things to you tomorrow as I can now get to the PO ;)

I am so sorry but I read the first part of your post and couldn't stop laughing ... I thought you meant some kind of contraceptive device?? :rotfl::rotfl: I don't even know why I thought that but it was just the bit above highlighted which set me off!

Rainmac - Glad your car is back :j it will be fixed soon :)

OH has left ... tomorrow will be the test of time ... wonder if I can take the kids to the play place after school to wear them out. I must craft tomorrow!
