I second that! I don't think it's many posts needed (for some reason I think it's in the 20s?). We don't mind a few nonsense posts if it means we get to see your makessome people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -
Louby glad you baby is better today
Thrifty chin up and best foot forward and give the washing machine people !!!!!!
Rusty when is hubby back? will he have the bank holiday off, and well done on the weight loss.

Thanks Lyndach - got a call from the engineer half an hour ago, washing machine will be delivered tomorrow - basically I had to phone up and be a right, shouty, nasty piece of work to get listened to. Next time, I'm going to buy the cheapest model I can find and when it breaks, tip it and replace it with another cheap model - we tried to be environmentally friendly by buying an expensive, energy-efficient one but what's the good if they can't fix it in a reasonable length of time and you've got to go apoplectic to get service - grrrr.
TomsMom & OAP - I used to be a nice, quiet person like TomsMom's dil and not say boo to a goose - what a difference a year can make :rotfl:. Is it an age thing, do you think???? Leaves the thread to calm down and go blog-hopping.0 -
Evening ladies..
Went blog hopping last night and left comments on all of your fantastic creations... WOW... they are all fab.
Been away for a few days to Portugal with a friend who wants to move there, never been before, gorgeous place.. my friend can't drive abroad at mo, so cos I don't mind I was volunteered.. anything to help a friend..
Taken me ages and ages to catch up on what has gone on while I was away... lots by look of it...
Right, here we go..
Many many congrats to Tomsmom, Paddington and to Dragonllew for your DT post.
Jhb Glad your date went well and well done on your weight loss, altho it is a drastic way of doing it.. Hope your nehew's hand gets better. It is a diabolical way of being treated by the teachers, how dare they.. congrats on your job too.
Dtb Glad you & son got back ok.. we didn't have any probs, thank goodness, Good luck with your job application. Had to laugh about your hairdressers comment re ex re marrying.. you could always send son to wedding with sleeping bag..
Nici Hope you are feeling a bit brighter,
Ponr Create and craft have those embossing leaves punches at the mo, they are selling them on pairs at the mo, there are six punches altogether, can't remember how much properly, think something like £13 ish plus £2.99 p&p. The lady I glimpsed using them today used them on coredination paper and emery boarded them for relief.. they were fab...
Rainmac Made up you made it to top three... well done
Flourgirl Hope your mum's eye feels a lot better, sounds traumatic for her, how awful...
Paddington I do hope that the clouds you feel at the mo become tiny white fluffy ones and blow away very very quickly. I have a punch for 3D butterflies if they are any good to you? I can easily do some punches for you?
Dragonllew Hope your physio went better than anticipated today
Sally UK Hope you are looking after yourself.. hugs to you..
Rusty You are certainly going thru it and back again, hope you get pain relief very soon.. Well done on your weight loss, that's brill
Skiergirl Hope your parents are better soon, take care driving, that M6 can be horrid..
Mumoffour Hope your aunty is ok now?
Thrifty Hope things turn out ok for DH, it can be a worry. As for DLA forms, they are the absolute pits... grrr. Glad you got your washing machine sorted finally. I must admit, I buy the cheapest one from Curry's, have done for the last two times and they have lasted 8 years ish each.. I have been told that anything electrical like that has a life span of 5 years normally, done by the manufacturer so you spend on them or renew...
Lyndach Those cookies looked fab, bet they've all gone now..
Papillongirl hope DD's foot has settled down nowSelf imposed crafty stash ban: started again 22/8/10 1 whole month stash free!
I must not buy stash, I must not buy stash, I must not buy stash!0 -
This is part 2 I am afraid, I didn't want that lot to disappear, so here we go again... I am so sorry..
Tiredmom Hope you have a bril long week end, where you going?
Emmabo Good job your friend had her scan.. what a wonderful surprise for her, hope it all goes well for her
Louby Hope your little one picks up now and that nasty rash goes away...
Choccy hope you feel better very soon, as for your head aches, have you tried headache stick? It is a herbal stick that you can get from Boots and such and you rub it across your forehead, that can work alongside tabs, or, lavender oil is good, just a drop rubbed on the temples can help, but not too much 'cos lavender oil if used in excess can give hyperactivity.. for those of you with little ones, be warned...
For anyone else I have missed I am very sorry...
Hugs for everyone who needs them and I do hope that everyones fortunes will change for the better in which ever way that is...
Phew Think I have caught up now...
I noticed when I got back I have got a star :j
Yippee!!!
I'm off for a brew now, be back later..Self imposed crafty stash ban: started again 22/8/10 1 whole month stash free!

Choccy Hope you feel better soon
Went to the garden centre today to buy some more plants for the garden, right on cue starting raining heavily, looks like planting them out might have to wait a few days, off to make tea catch up later0
