  • Rusty- what an awful thing to happen, dr's etc seem to be less caring now, almost as if they resent being asked to do their job and actually help people in need! Sending you big hugs, hope new medication helps. XX

oh rusty massive hugs to you hun, your really are going though it all at the moment. I'm shocked they can't help you. They are a waste of space. I can't believe no one could have come out to you. Would they have left an elderly person no!

    Evening..
Rusty It must be terrible what you are going thru.. I had bad back ache.. a re occurring thing that takes place at unsuspecting times.. and I have been on the floor with the spasms, but not any where near as frequent as you are having, I really feel for you.. I use a chiropractor, and without him clicking I would not be able to function as well as I do..
I am with Tiredmom with this one and suggest you possibly seeing a chiropractor if at all poss. My own GP suggested that I saw one... unless it hasn't been advised? I do hope you get your referral very soon, fingers and toes crossed... I can't cross my eyes...

Tiredmom I have been to the QVC outlet at Warrington.. basically it is pot luck what you can find. When I was there, there was a 25% sale off craft stuff. Some of the stuff was that well wrapped, you couldn't see what it was.. but I would say if you have a chance of going to one, you may be lucky and find some bargains..:)
    Enjoy your break :D
    Nettie your card is fab..
Thank you for welcoming me back Melissa and Wanna b :D
Motheroffour glad your aunty is doing better..

JHB I hope your sister kicks !!! at the parents night tomorrow - that's ridiculous. In this day of Health and Safety madness you would think they would have been falling over themselves to make sure he was OK!

nuttie - Great card. I don't like doing boys ones - I find them really difficult.

Rusty It sounds as if you've had a horrific day. Sending you virtual hugs and will wear inside out clothes for you. Hope you get your appointment soon hun. x

Made some cards tonight and I'll blog them tomorrow - although I can't show you them all yet ;)

Thank you craftygranny, to be honest I'm not 100% sure how I did it, just hoping I do it again now.
Feeling bit overwhelmed at mo cos all been so kind, I cope with criticism <sp?!> much more easily. x

We could all tell lies and say it's carp if it makes you feel better. :rotfl:

We are all kind we share things especially links to expensive must haves. Like promarkers and craft robo's

OMG Rusty . Hope you feel better soon . I agree with the others i think you'd benefit from a chiropractor . I know one but unless you are planning to fly to san Fran he won't be much help. He's my ds2 fil. I've been telling him all about you and he thinks one could help you a lot.

Rusty, I have to second what the girls are saying, either a chiropractor or an osteopath will be able to lesson the pain. They also can ask your doc to send you for x-rays as well. I know you've had all these but they may be able to point to a specific area to be x-rayed for your problem. When I fell on the ice at Christmas and caused my back problem, it was the osteopath that got me moving and I'm still going once a fortnight. It's expensive £38 a time but I am walking further and further now. At the beginning it was twice a week ( less money for stash).

If you ever need real emergency help tell them at the end of the line you are having difficulties breathing ( which is true 'cos the pain can be that bad) and an ambulance with a paramedic will come. A First Responder ( we are very rural and hozzie over an hour away) told me this.

Just blogged a card for a chum

oh dear rusty how awful! will be wearing things inside out for you xx BTW - diazepam (also known as valium) is a calming drug used for anxiety but is also used to treat muscle spasms (I was presribed it for anxiety when I was younger) xx

  • Morning all - just catching up from last night.

Rusty - can you ring the out-patient department at your hospital and ask to speak to consultant's secretary. She should be able to tell you when your appointment will be and if there are any cancellations, she may be able to help. Don't want to give false hope but it must be worth a try. Stay strong. Hugs to you.
