  • Nuttienettie - love the racing car card!
  • Ladies .... Can I ask some advice please?

I have went on QvC website....looking for acetate....the reviews are poor!
Can anyone recommend where I can get good acetate?

Hassey....My aunt is recovering well! She had a narrowing of the artery below the stent that was fitted a few years back...so they inserted a new stent through her arm....Yuck...but its a life saving bit of plastic!!

Try Joanne Sheen. I had some acetate from there and it was pretty good, not the thin flimsy stuff that a lot of places sell.

  • Thank you craftygranny, to be honest I'm not 100% sure how I did it, just hoping I do it again now.

Had a successful evening in that I have had fun making a card, changed my mind 3 times though. I will photo it tomorrow in the light and then blog it.

It is for my SIL for her birthday but is also for the Prima flower challenge, need to work out how to enter it as never done a challenge on another site before, and also fits the 3b's challenge for here so very chuffed.

Choccy - Meant to say earlier and feel awful for not, hope you feel better soon.

DTB - Good Luck with interview, sorry missed that one.

Nuttie - Love your card, I hate doing male cards.

We are going to our caravan at the weekend which is only 30 mins from Shrewsbury so Erin and I are going girly shopping on Saturday as forecast is pretty poor. I am going to see if I can find any crafty shops, only managed to find 2 small ones on internet but will see what they are like. Discovered though that there is a QVC outlet there, has anyone ever been to one and are they any good for crafty stuff?

Mumoffour - If you find any decent acetate please let me know as I would like to get some as well.

Off to bed now, hopefully will get chance to blog hop tomorrow at somepoint but typically I have discovered a payment problem from one of DH's clients paying us twice, yesterday and today. Sounds like a good thing but it is the last day of his financial year tomorrow and I won't be able to refund the money before the end of the day so it messes up his accounts:mad:

Evening all. Sorry but I am going to be MIA again :( have had a terrible afternoon. Tried to feed DD lunch and the pain started and just crippled me, I ended up pulling her plate down onto the floor so I could butter her toast. Basically to cut a long story short I couldn't get up off the floor and after endless calls to the NHS and doctor who both refused to do anything as it isn't life threatening I was stuck there for 4 hours! I just couldn't move. I had to force myself up to the stairs to get to the loo and managed with the help from MIL to crawl onto the bed. Doc prescribed me diazipan (??) and apparently I am supposed to be able to go and pick it up not sure if he understood when I said I was stuck on the floor  OH has come back home so I am just to try and rest and hope that this referral to hospital hurries up :(

Hope everyone is ok and anyone who needs hugs I am sending some. please wear inside out things to get this referral date to me ASAP!!!
Sorry but won't be able to keep up with blogs or possibly on here, not being ignorant but there was 4 pages in just half a day!!

Oh Rusty you poor thing. What actually does diazipan do? I really really would recommend you find a McTimoney Chiropractor in your area. They aren't the cheapest but when I had my accident they are the only ones that would treat me. I know they aren't cheap but when you weigh it up against losing wages for your OH it won't seem so bad. Take care with taking all these tablets as well if you are only having soups for food as you don't want to irritate your stomach too much.

    Bigs hugs
