I'm just having a quick break from the ironing too - I don't normally mind doing it, but seem to be having one those days where I can't settle into anything (think it might be cos I've got the dentist later and don't really like going).

I looked at those stamps too, but decided I'd put them on my birthday wish list - the trouble is the list keeps growing and I've still got a month til my Birthday! They are gorgeous though. I think I'd better not post anymore links, that's you and Rusty that have lost control of the spendy elves!Snipped you sorry
This so reminds me of my Mum. When we were small in 1950's, Dad was the only wage earner and with 4 kids money was tight - if Mum wanted a new dress/coat etc. Dad would say "if you want it, get it" at which point poor Mum would loose all interest in her new clothes unless it was vital that she had something.
How times have changed!
Times have truly changed. When I was little (in the early 70's), I can remember days when my Mum would struggle to buy the weeks groceries, let alone luxuries. Thankfully, I'm not in that position and my only real vice in life is the internet and crafting (don't smoke and very rarely drink), but definately think my spend levels have gone up since finding this thread:o:D0 -
They are fab, thanks for posting x
Craftygranny, would you like some more ironing? Got mine to do after school pick up and before dinner. Will I get it all done? NOOOOO!!
