Hi everyone, you've all been busy chatting again while I've been in the garden. All done now and ready for spring so I'm having a day off tomorrow and shall visit the craft shop in Llandudno, hopefully come back with some goodies.
I've rescued my "wrong way round" card and made it into an easel card, it's on my blog.
Thrifty - glad your tongue is OK now, how awful for you. I'm glad your letters have had an effect and hope something good comes of it.
Sharica - Welcome to the thread. I've just got back into cardmaking after a couple of years when I didn't do anything. Have you got a blog? If so put a link in your profile so that we can all drop by and have a nosey!
I'm off blog hopping, will leave comments as I go.0 -
Hi Sharica - I'll be pestering you for some advice re. Tim Holtz
Lizalloareds - will you be going to the NEC on the Friday? There's a whole bunch of us meeting up then. I got some lovely bits from the Everything's a Pound stall, including some good quality card blanks and an x-cut craft knife.
Rusty - glad you've got some meds for DD, hopefully she'll pick up soon x
Thrifty - sounds like things might finally be going in the right direction. It's terrible the lengths you have to go to just to get someone to listen to you - I wonder how many people just give up? Poor you with the tongue, hope it's okay x
Hope everyone else is feeling well xsome people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -

Q: What do you get when you put duracell batteries instead of rechargeable batteries into your house phone?????
A: Acid dripping all over the mouth piece
My tongue is fine now thanks - my oh and dd have had hours of fun at my expense
Well I must write a good letter of complaint - sure has set people jumping around here. I've had two phonecalls today from the head social worker for adult disabilities and have been promised a phonecall from the Autism Unit manager tomorrow - so we shall see what tomorrow brings. I also have a reporter from the local paper on standby.
Eek that is really bad!! I know it does say on most of them to only use rechargeable!! ... hope you got sorted in the end? did you call someone??
Sounds like things are picking up for you keeping fingers crossed for you all :j
Twinklelittlestar - Now you have stamps there is a new addiction :rotfl: I bought my first stamp and now have loads, that isn't including the 50-75 I have sold over the last year, although if we are talking obsessions then craftygranny is the winner ... she has boxes of them!!
Paddingtondooooooo - Faby news on your order, well done :j oooh more bears!! .... glad you got one over on your boss!! she sounds like a right cow!
Shaz - Welcome to the most expensive money saving thread in the world!! :j

Thankyou to whoever posted the link to the MS score boards!! ... No I didn't buy them but I found loads of the new DCWV pads in 12x12 for £5 which is £3-£4 cheaper than anywhere else!! I bought 2 this morning
Who wants the spendy elves next?
Twas me - sorry:o but please feel free to keep the spendy elves, I sooo don't want them!! Bought a whole load of 12 x 12 K&Co Papers and 7 Anna Griffin background and frame stamps - not as bad as it sounds though the papers were on offer at 19p each and the stamps were all £1.99 each (still taken me over my allowance for this month though).
Hope your little one feels better soon. She seems to have had a roughtime lately.
Craftygranny - LOL @ Kaitlyn and the dragon lady. We don't visit the same PO do we - the one at my PO moans whenever we hand over parcels, as apparently there's no room for them!
Thrifty - hope your tongues OK npw. Fingers crossed that things start moving for you and DS. x
Sharica - Hi & welcome
Can I just share my little bit of excitement for the day? I discovered that I came in the top 3 for Crafty Cardmakers and I now have a nice new shiny blinky on my blog:D
I'm off to blog hop as it sounds like there are some lovely makes. Will leave comments as I go.0 -
JHB - I bought 2 more of the Tim Holtz Distress inks today, there was an offer on 25% so I got a blue one and a pink one. I also bought the blending thing he used in the videos on youtube and 25% off of that also. I saw the mat that he uses as well but that was $9.99 so will wait to see if there is a 40% voucher next week for Michaels!!! Can't wait to try them!!The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0

I feel a new obsession coming on after watching those youtube videos, he makes everything look so easy and stunning. I'll only be able to buy 4 inks (if I ever get the voucher!), and still haven't decided what colours to buy.
I haven't seen the blending thing online anywhere (it might help if I knew what it was called), so have no idea what that costs - I'll have a look at the NEC next week. I hope it's not too expensive!
wanna-b-rich - well donesome people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0
