I'm a bit annoyed with myself today - I ordered some roses to go on my cards and they arrived today but I think they're too small - trouble is I ordered about 200 of them!!!! I'll try and use them and see what I think - maybe I'll just put about 10 on each card!!!

Can you re-sell them on ebay/crafty place etc if they're not exactly what you were after?

Evening all just popping on before I start the dinner, I'm off to poker tonight so i'm afraid I won't b around tonight but i'm sure I will have loads to read tomorrow morning :)

Well I FINALLY posted my mothers day cards on my blog!! and also the card I made for OH's nan.

I had a little play with the printer earlier, I thought I was out of ink as I tried to photocopy a x-stitch chart for craftygranny and it didnt work but I tried to print off some images I had on here and they worked! The black is a little grey but it will do. So I had a play with an image and my Promarkers, I think i did an ok job for my 1st try with them, I def need a larger variety of colours though!! (I think the spendy elves could b visiting here tomorrow Rusty!)

Thrifty I'm also not going to ask but def ring NHS direct, they will help and advise u x

Right time for dinner here so better get on with it!!! I will try to get on later to blog hop (sorry I keep saying im goign to and not gettign round to it)

Hope ur all ok Samm xx

Can't stay - but just wanted to say Rusty - sorry to hear about your Gran, sending you big hugs.

Hopefully I'll be posting again next week - life is still pretty busy - left one job today, start another tomorrow.

Hope everyone is OK. Choccy, I popped a card in the post to you today for Thursday, so in case I don't get on again before next week, have a great birthday, and hope you are thoroughly spoilt xxx

This is the link to the challenge post :)

JHB I got the parcel this morning, and wow! thank you so much, I feel like you sent too much lol
Also how do I enter challenges on blogs? I wanna enter the Forever friends one :D

I hope you can make use of everything. :)
There are usually 2 ways to enter blogs, both require that you link only to the post where the card is rather than the blog, so start off by clicking on the post and copying the url.
The Forever Friends blog has a "Mr. Linky" feature, where you type in your name, and then paste the url for your card post into the next box; click on enter and that's all you need to do.
Some other blogs require you enter by leaving a comment, so within your comment you need to do a http link. Type in the following:
Type in whatever you want to be highlighted as the link, e.g. This is my entry
Make sure you include the speech marks around your url.

Evening everyone:)
I am just having a break from tidying the house big style.. I don't know about anyone else, but I normally keep the house moderately tidy, until someone is going to visit, then it is a mad dash to do a proper job of it?
I have better things to do, like crafting and looking at blogs and other more interesting things... :D
Rusty I am so sorry to hear about your Gran. I hope your dd starts feeling better too.
You have ordered loverly papers by the way.
Dragonllew Congrats on your win :D
People on this thread have been doing very well lately.. :j
Giggle Well done with your sales, it was very useful for you to post what was most popular etc, although I am not surprised your sales went well, there were lovely things on your stall.
Craftygranny Well done Kaitlyn :) I bet Dragonlady hides next time she sees Kaitlyn coming in the shop... What a sweetheart to think of the teachers wanting chocolate for Easter.. Aaaah!!!
Samm Hope your headache stays away, they can be quite debilitating. Good luck with poker tonight.
CT Good luck with your job tomorrow.
Thrifty How is your tongue now? Have you contacted anyone else since your first letter and the local newspaper?
The Wife lovely cards on show.. I bet you feel like framing them.. What did you learn in class today?
Melissa I bought some lovely paper and an angel stamp that can be used all year round, and some cards and envelopes and I could have spent a lot more, but stopped myself.. I was very proud of myself.
I am sure the flowers you bought will come in somewhere.. isn't that one of the most used sentences in crafting?

Lovely cards on the blogs ladies and nice sweet bags too...
Lovely mothers day cards posted on blogs, what talented off springs you all have :D
I am visiting Kent for a long week end from Thursday, staying in Cranbrook til Monday.
I know Kent is big, but wondered if anybody could advise me of anywhere I could visit that has a good craft shop or two??
I stayed in Kent near Canterbury a week before Christmas and found a good shop in Canterbury itself. I am looking forward to the change of scenery.
Right, back to my tidying groan...
Self imposed crafty stash ban: started again 22/8/10 1 whole month stash free!
I must not buy stash, I must not buy stash, I must not buy stash! :o
