    Morning :)

Well I came home with an extra £1 from poker!! Better than nothing I suppose. I came down with an awful headache again while I was there though :( I forgot my paracetamol and no-one else had any so I had to take someones prescribed high dosage co-codimol and it still didnt shift it :( I really need an eye test, think I will have to find out when OH has a saturday off so he can watch the little ones

Well my DD2 is already in bed having her nap! She's been back in bed since 10  So I have a bit of peace and quiet, might try my hand at finding some more free images to download and print to make a nice card or 2. I think I really have the bug as I've taken over the table with ALL of my card making bits! They were in the !!!!!! (foot rest thingy that matches the sofa!! sorry can u tell I have another headache starting!) with all my x stitch bits but it was starting to overflow!

Rusty i hope DD gets better now she has stronger meds.
    Well done wanna-b-rich:T
    Welcome Sharica x

Right I'm off to enjoy my bacon sarnie and another cuppa tea and look through what stash I have, Can anyone point me in the direction of some comps I could enter that might inspire something!!

Hope u all have a nice day
    Samm xx

  • Rusty - LOL don't we girls just NEED everything we buy? I'm dropping huge hints at DH over the phone (he's away yet again on business) that I need some more Promarkers as I can't colour the images in properly due to insufficient colurs!;) I'm also looking at buying some mica watercolours from the same company as you got your papers (they do seem a fair bit cheaper than other companies). His response to all of this is, "do you actually need them??" silly question if you ask me:rotfl::rotfl:

JHB - this is what you're after, they are about £3.95 with refills (depending upon where you get them). Also the distressing inks are cheaper here (when they are in stock).

Samm - sorry you've another headache.

I'm still blog hopping and searching for freebie easter images, then I really must tackle the pile of ironing that has my name on it:(

Can I just share my little bit of excitement for the day? I discovered that I came in the top 3 for Crafty Cardmakers and I now have a nice new shiny blinky on my blog:D

    Ooohhh well done you :T :T :T

Rusty, so sorry your DD is poorly, the anti-biotics should kick in quite quickly x

    Hi Sharica x

Well done for your sorting out Thrifty, so glad your tongue is ok xxx

I've been bad :o Just ordered 2 House Mouse stamps just because I wanted them. They are so cute and after the images Rusty sent me I am in love with them. Got them from Oyster Stamps as they seemed a good price from there and p&p wasn't too bad. Don't let me buy much at the NEC will you, my OH will leave me :o

This so reminds me of my Mum. When we were small in 1950's, Dad was the only wage earner and with 4 kids money was tight - if Mum wanted a new dress/coat etc. Dad would say "if you want it, get it" at which point poor Mum would loose all interest in her new clothes unless it was vital that she had something.
