Rusty if you look on Choccy's blog there is a picture of one of the sketches and the other one is one Dragonllews, sorry thats all I could find.
Glad to hear that missy's eyes are a tad better today, and you sound a little more cheerful too :)

Flourgirl - Thankyou for the links :D I shall go off and have a look see!

The-Wife - I was being nice and sharing, but not to worry looks like Flourgirl might want them spendy elves? ;) What did you buy??

Flourgirl - I am a bit more cheerful today, I had a couple of hours away from the children and managed to speak to my aunt, I know what happened with my Gran and it was quite comforting knowing she wasn't in any pain and was just sleeping. Link is here If you scroll down then there is a whole array of papers, I have ordered the mia casa and the guy stack. I like the mango one aswell but daren't spend £45 in one day on papers

Lyndach - thanks for the link :D I want to try and have a go :D

She's in the middle of making some easter baskets for her teachers for easter as she decided it's not fair that kids get all the chocolates because even big girls like teachers like chocolate. She dragged me round loads of shops looking for chocolate rabbits and small eggs in shiny paper . Mini eggs are no good apparantly. lol .

Oh to be four years old and carefree again .
Lidl have bags of the small eggs in shiny paper for 99p ( im sure thats what they where) and there is about 36 in each bag :D

Rusty just had a look at those papers they are £15 not £5 as it says in your above post, thought they were cheap for 12x12s :rotfl::rotfl:
I don't really need any just didn't want to miss them if they were cheap!!!:D

I'm banned from spending at the moment! I did get up early and caught the postie before he rang the bell! and smuggled my Secret Crafter stash into the craft room lol
  • Thankyou Marg :) means a lot! xx

I think I need to ban my family from buying me birthday cards as they generally plan ahead.

Last year my G'dad died a couple of days before his birthday which he also shared with my DD, she had a birthday card and present waiting for her from him even though he had already gone there was also a card for me, which just had my name on the envelope and no writing inside as he hadn't got around to writing inside. Then last week my Gran and Auntie came to visit, bringing up a present each for myself and DD and also 2 cards, one from my aunt and uncle and one from my gran each, and now my gran has gone aswell!!! I find it quite scary that they both write/buy cards and then both leave us all!! I guess it will be another birthday for DD and I to have cards on the fireplace from family who have passed on!! :( lets hope it doesn't happen again next year, not sure I can cope with anymore!

Aww Rusty sorry to hear about your Gran - my thoughts are with you and your family x

Glad to hear you're feeling a bit less down Rusty, must have been such a shock :(. I see the spendy elves are keeping you occupied, just don't send them my way!!! Ordered £11 of card from Creative Craft World today to take advantage of free delivery and 10% off, great bargain, got lots of gorgeous pink and lilac card coming in loads of shades :D

Made a nappy cake and 36 little bags of sweets for DS1's party next week. All on my blog as I am quite proud of them ;) Need a rest now but not even time for a cuppa as we need to get moving and pick DS1 up from school.

Can't believe the NEC is next week :j :j :j. Will we meet outside the hall like before, what time suits, think it was 10 or 10.30 last time???

I'm a bit annoyed with myself today - I ordered some roses to go on my cards and they arrived today but I think they're too small - trouble is I ordered about 200 of them!!!! I'll try and use them and see what I think - maybe I'll just put about 10 on each card!!!

Dragonflew - lovely hedgehog card - the colours you've used are fabulous! Your sweet box is great too as are the cards your kids made - love Aimee's abstract card!!!

Rainmac - your nappy cake is lovely!! So are your party favours - I'm sure the kids will love them.
