I'm also deciding to do a wardrobe audit again...I'm hanging on to a lot of ''sensible clothes'' which I never where, aren't me and could do someone else some good. some internet friends and I are trying to get together for one of our number to have a holiday with her disabled kids, and selling off our unnesessary gear seems a good way to raise the dough. :)

So, as I wander around in my old evenin dress making chocolates and feeling abit queasy I find I'm wearing a terifically me outfit. The evening dress is yellow, and is a house dress because the chiffon over layer is a bit ragged. I'm barefoot, and aproned (beige with pink flowers) and I felt too poorly for make up earlier, but wanted to ''play later'' so I have the remains of some lip gloss and some red blusher on, I look a little consumptive tbh. I do I look like the mad cat lady left at the alter, but DH just said ''I love that you still dress up, like a little girl, we'll be kids for ever, won't we?'' and you knw, I think we will. )

Its lovely what your DH said. My OH never says anything about what I wear- I could be in a binbag for all he seems to care.
Good luck with the clothes sell, is very thoughtful and generous that you are doing that for your friend and her kids.

OK so this is what I bought today, I know everyone suggested I should wear boots to the O2 Academy but these shoes are from M and S and are super comfy and I have worn them on a night out before, many moons ago!

I couldn't decide between floral or mint green so got both haha.
  • diesel - love that dress where did you get it?

Lola - thanks for the tip, I'll have a hunt. I'm sure I saw some bright yellow ones recently but I'm not sure where. I think I'd quite like some pale coloured tights for spring
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*

  • your prob right lostin...I think I'd be gutted to see it go even tho I never use it. I might buy a simple dress or skirt pattern and set myself a goal of spending some time each week using it...best laid plans though and all that :(

Queenie, defo keep the machine. I'd love my own... sigh.

Lost, I love the sound of your outfit, really I do. :D

Lottie, not sure what I'm looking for in leggings, still haunted by the spectre of horrid baggy-at-the-knee black leggings from the very early Nineties. I like the Sass and Bide rats, though, especially the snakeskin ones.

diesel, you look very nice and I like the dress, it's super pretty. Still think your feet might catch hell in those shoes though!

    Personal pronouns are they/them/their, please.

I'm intolerant of wheat, citrus, grapes, grape products and dried vine fruits, tomato, and beetroot, and I am also somewhat caffeine sensitive.
