I just really dont miss it at all..not that I was a big drinker anyway..seeing ppl close to me being affected so badly by alcohol was the reason I just never started drinking again after being on meds for so long which meant I couldn't..

    Hi everyone!!

Hope everyone has had a good day today. I've been at the rugby today - it was absolutely freezing and me in my wisdom decided a) not to wear a coat  and b) to do my hair and put make-up on!! Big mistake - by the end of the match my make-up had vanished and I had 2 lovely Belisha-beacon style raw patches from the cold on my face.. lovely!! My new avatar pic was taken today.. thankfully the light has done me a favour! I stood and watched the WAGS going into the dressing room and lusted after their shoes... lucky girls!!!

Despite this little lot I was STILL freezing :)

White ribbed spaghetti-strap vest top with floral detail on the straps (George @ Asda Thurmaston - no idea how much I paid for it!)
Pale blue ribbed vest top with lace straps (£4.50, Dorothy Perkins Coalville)
Black fitted hooded t-shirt (think this was about £5, Asda Thurmaston again)
Black cotton t-shirt with sequins round the neck and three-quarter sleeves (Evans Leicester Xmas sale 2008)
Black and white striped zip-up hoodie with silver print (£15, Evans Leicester Xmas sale 2009)
Cotton Traders Leicester Tigers players hoodie (£34.99, club shop)
    Black cotton leggings (Simply Be)
Black skinny jeans (£14, Evans Birmingham)
Blue Snoopy print trainer socks and grey knee-length socks, with my furry boots (£5, Primark Birmingham)

Accessories were my D&G Mountain necklace, beige Radley bag and 2 silver rings, perfume was Angel and I was wearing Helen E foundation, Boots 17 silver eyeshadow, Rimmel mascara and Lancome Juicy Tubes in Fraise.

Hope everyone's had a good day - night everyone! xx

Tsabo- what kind of job is that for?! lol

*has fingers crossed for a quiet night for you*

It was for Boots! How odd.
Thank you for crossing your fingers, i'm home and in bed already :D Could have done with the extra money but i'm so content curled up with Desperate Housewives and my dog.

About drinking.. i've cut down a lot recently. Which sounds stupid as i'm 19 in a couple of weeks. But we used to drink so much vodka at 14 i'm sort of bored of feeling so bad from it now. Plus having to clean up other peoples sick and the states they get in to can put anyone off!

Been let down on the bootsale front tomorrow. :( so going to sort through and ebay some more.

Me and darling boyfriend have found an apartment in Liverpool right in the city centre and will be moving early April...very scary stuff but exciting at the same time....so I've got about a month to get organised and pack up my Nottingham life to start one in Liverpool. I'll be honest, I'm struggling at the lack of charity shops up there, hopefully I haven't been looking in the right places and there are actually loads![/QUOTE]

There are two charity shops in the city centre and that's it :( Get the bus out to somewhere like Allerton Road though - there are about 9 within 5 mins walk of each other down there.

Or take the train over to Hoylake in Wirral, a nice row of 4 charity shops altogether, a lovely traditional little veg shop and bakery, a coffee shop just over the road for refreshments then a bracing walk along the seafront/ beach, before you jump the train back to the city again!

    I bought this today.

First Spring purchase. I love the coral colour. Need some navy tights now!

  • So, as I wander around in my old evenin dress making chocolates and feeling abit queasy I find I'm wearing a terifically me outfit. The evening dress is yellow, and is a house dress because the chiffon over layer is a bit ragged. I'm barefoot, and aproned (beige with pink flowers) and I felt too poorly for make up earlier, but wanted to ''play later'' so I have the remains of some lip gloss and some red blusher on, I look a little consumptive tbh. I do I look like the mad cat lady left at the alter, but DH just said ''I love that you still dress up, like a little girl, we'll be kids for ever, won't we?'' and you knw, I think we will. )

    Ahh, that's so sweet.

    Bronnie, that's a lovely dress.
