Diesel- you look very pretty. I will echo everyone else's comments and say I love the dress too. I think boots would look nice but if you don't have a suitable pair or don't want to wear boots then those shoes look fine too.

I keep trying to catch up with all the chatter on here but I'm not having much luck ! Had to help DD2 get ready for her friend's birthday disco (hair, nails, make-up etc) - she's turned from a 12yr old into a 15yr old in one blink ! Her make up is very sedate though, and it was really lovely to spend time with her doing girly things. She was wearing black leggings, a black and silver glittery top from Tammy (jumble sale, 10p shhhhhhhhhhhhh don't tell her !!!! :rotfl:). Top Shop kitten heel sandals and a black bolero cardigan. She looked beautiful, certainly takes after her mum :p :rotfl: .

Re: Yellow tights - I looked in Primark, new look and other shops today and couldn't see any. I was going to buy the whole shelf and send them out to you lovely ladies but my good deed for the day was not meant to be :(.

diesel, echo everyone else's comments - beautiful !

Love the dress Diesel. Is that the one with the heart cut out on the back? I wish I had somewhere to wear it to and i'd buy it!

Just filled in a very odd job application with questions like "Do you look unhappy when something goes wrong?" what?! They've also just emailed me and asked for a reference.. from me. I'll try ringing them tomorrow.

Wearing my favourite black and lace dress for work tonight. Hope it's quiet as i'm very very tired.

  • aw it's so nice to be back home, back online, back on my own sofa :D

Gonna watch Piers Morgan interview Simon Cowell at 9, reckon that should be interesting to say the least, I've got huge respect and admiration for him.
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*

OK so this is what I bought today, I know everyone suggested I should wear boots to the O2 Academy but these shoes are from M and S and are super comfy and I have worn them on a night out before, many moons ago!

Wow that dress is fab! I think you have made a good choice with shoes rather than boots (even though I suggested boot's lol) but just be prepared as its not only cider in glasses that gets thrown about at these places lol:)

My kids sometimes say, I could do with another pair of jeans can you keep an eye out in in the charity shops for me please?

Bless em. The eldest has four pairs he currently rotates between, two levi 501's, CK and Armani - all from Charity Shops - he's dead proud that we got a bargain.
