I've lost all my baby weight but people still comment that I look a mess :(

Used some of my Xmas vouchers the other day and bought:

    and:

(in black, grey, nude and white)

I'm going shopping tomorrow for some more wardrobe basics and then I'm going to start building from there. Apart from some nice black trousers what would anyone suggest? Especially with Spring supposedly approaching I haven't got a clue

I really like the tunic/jersey dress with tights and boots look but can never find the perfect one :(

You people are all so stylish it puts me to shame. If it helps I'm a size 6 with no curves (it sucks)

The rudeness of some people!! I'd be tempted to dish out a few eye pokes to anyone that told me I looked a mess!

I love Dotty P for basic tops so good picks there. What sort of stuff do you usually wear/feel comfortable in? And is there a dress code at your office? That'll help us suggest a few things :)

Goodness, I'm late posting today. hello everyone new and old *waves*.

Some of my Amazon things came today, mostly tent and camping stuff and amazing toaster etc. But I ordered a cute bag and i think it's by the same company that make the airmail coin purse of Daisys. It was expensive for what it was but since it was a win...

What to wear with a lace body? A great fitting bra and a lot of attitude! It would be great for adding a new dimension to short-sleeved dresses and tops. I love a bit of black lace (think it's the latent goth in me). Look forward to seeing your jewellery!

I think wearing under tops is easier for us with flesh. :) The attitude is there, but it doesn't cover the lumps :rotfl:

I'm trying to outfit plan for tomorrow. Shouldn't need to get my clothes off, but you never know, so should be simple. It looks so summery out, I'm thinking I might see what I can do with a maxi dress and warm cardigan....
    .

That's the beauty of maxi dresses, I wear mine all year round with a couple of pairs of leggings underneath and no-one can see.

Gosh, so much chatter and new people! Hi to everyone. :)

Nikki - what about some plain dresses for work but dress them up with coloured tights and long necklaces? New Look usually have lots of nice things like this in. Same with boots.

Town ended up being quite an expensive trip! (£12.99 mothers day present, £6 on ebay envelopes, dog food and £4 on denim shorts) However I never find denim shorts when I need them so i suppose it's best to put them away rather than paying over the odds in summer. Got to go in again for an xbox game for the bf tomorrow. Metrocentre on friday to see Alice in Wonderland on the new IMAX and then i'm having a no spend for 3 week challenge.

Has anyone recently seen a short biker style leather (or leather look) jacket for a decent price? I'm on a quest!

That is inspired....I could wear the holey gold footless tights. :j:j:j noone would no and I'd have my own secret touch of sparkle in the mundane surroundings of the hospital. whohooooo thans goan! ( I think the shorts for that outfit might add to much bulk underneath).

Right, I'm sorted. I've been avoiing thinking about it, the first appt was such a ruddy nightmare.
