Goodness, I'm late posting today. hello everyone new and old *waves*.

Some of my Amazon things came today, mostly tent and camping stuff and amazing toaster etc. But I ordered a cute bag and i think it's by the same company that make the airmail coin purse of Daisys. It was expensive for what it was but since it was a win...

I'm going shopping tomorrow for some more wardrobe basics and then I'm going to start building from there. Apart from some nice black trousers what would anyone suggest? Especially with Spring supposedly approaching I haven't got a clue

I really like the tunic/jersey dress with tights and boots look but can never find the perfect one :(

You people are all so stylish it puts me to shame. If it helps I'm a size 6 with no curves (it sucks)

Personally, I'd go for grey, not black trousers....or a light tweed, that will get you through most of spring, autumn and winter, with tighs underneath. Dresses are just wonderful...they require so little planning....ideal for rushed mornings. :)

    old, at 21?:eek::eek:

    Good afternoon everyone

Just been catching up on your recent posts and updates to blogs. I have been admiring some of your recent wears and purchases.

Goan, I didn't realise that charity shops accept rags. We have some 'rags' destined for the clothes bank at the tip so I may phone up one of the charity shops in town to see if they want them instead.

Been reading some of the posts about clothes waste / ethically sourced clothes. I have to hold my hand up and admit that there are some clothes (past and present) that I never wore or haven't worn yet, although pregnancy last year is some of the reason for that. I had a good clearout when I was 'nesting' + so did hubby and we filled up the car boot with clothes to go the charity shops. I am getting better though - I think having less disposable income now makes me think more when I buy clothes. I tend to buy needs instead of wants, although I think a couple of my recent purchases have been more needs insteads of wants, whoops. I am thinking of ebaying my ASOS skinny jeans if I don't wear them this weekend - don't like them on me plus not sure that skinny jeans are really for me (more of a bootleg / flares jean girl).

I have my eye on a couple of things in the shops but holding tight at the moment as I think hen night this weekend may cost me a bit.

I'm trying to outfit plan for tomorrow. Shouldn't need to get my clothes off, but you never know, so should be simple. It looks so summery out, I'm thinking I might see what I can do with a maxi dress and warm cardigan....

also, I've seen some amazing jewelery made of silk at a jewelery exhibition in a town near by. I'm really tempted, but the odd thing is the one I'm most drawn to are colours I would say aren't typically me.....but we'll see.

Apparantly the problem with the pictures on this stupid phone is the software fo the computer, it doesn't recognise the wire to connect the two and the cd isn't working properly, it cannot finish the download or something in computer speak....so, not sure what to do about that! I think there might be an issue with the wire, because my normal camera stopped working too...

rofl, you are so sweet. no.....I just have a thing about black being default...grey is generally more friendly (showin less grubby hand prints and animal hairs, scuffs) and more flattering in the day time....yet we all revery to black for work wear.

TBH, I look like a loon half the time.....but its ok. I can scrub up and look ''conventional''' it just gets harder with age and weight:D

I know what you mean about black. When I did my work experience and had to wear office clothes I think I wore black once, and stuck out like a sore thumb in my greys and browns!

LOL loon, nope, eccentric perhaps, but in the loveliest way possible.

I love that! But don't think I could wear it for work - yowzer. What would I wear under it just a bra, the boys might like it though!

I have been trying to photograph my jewellery but I cant quite get the photos right, I have taken advice and need to spend some time this weekend trying to get to grips with it. Will post when I get it right :)

What to wear with a lace body? A great fitting bra and a lot of attitude! It would be great for adding a new dimension to short-sleeved dresses and tops. I love a bit of black lace (think it's the latent goth in me). Look forward to seeing your jewellery!

Nikki - welcome! At 21 you're young enough to be my daughter . I'm with Lost, grey trousers are a better option than black.

Medsdemon - How exciting! You lucky thing!

Hi all you fashionable lovelies. Hope no one minds me joining in?

I'm back to work on Saturday after a lovely 9 months of on maternity leave (and 7 before that due to illness throughout pregnancy) and think its about time that I start to make an effort with my clothes again. I work in an office with a lot of young girls (im only 21) but they make me feel so old now because I'm a mummy.

I've lost all my baby weight but people still comment that I look a mess :(

Used some of my Xmas vouchers the other day and bought:

    http://www.dorothyperkins.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=20552&storeId=12552&productId=1453484&langId=-1&categoryId=&parent_category_rn=

    and:

(in black, grey, nude and white)

I'm going shopping tomorrow for some more wardrobe basics and then I'm going to start building from there. Apart from some nice black trousers what would anyone suggest? Especially with Spring supposedly approaching I haven't got a clue

Who are these people saying you look a mess? How rude and inconsiderate. They don't sound like nice people - I hope they are not friends of yours. I am sure you don't look a mess though.

I like your recent buys - they'll look nice with black trousers and would be a lovely outfit for the office.

I have a 8 month baby. I am a bit bigger than you but also have no curves so I can sympathise with you there (have less boobs now than before pregnancy!) but you just need to make the best of what you have got IFYSIM (hope that doesn't sound rude).
