Sorry all, had to pop out and get DS from football training. I almost forgot nattering on here !!!

Maxi dress .... hmmmmm .... I love them but not sure they love my shape. I think I'm going to have to try on at some point and take another long hard look at myself to see if they suit.

Anywhere on the high street that does them? (I've not seen any on my travels recently).

Not that I'm buying anything for a while anyway, I'm thinking maybe for when I'm into the next dress size :D.

yes lost, i was forced to sit trhough an ep of x factor (gag) once, where they went to different countries? and danni and kylie, and cheryl cole i think, were all in the prettiest maxi dresses..

i have one, which is techincally too long for me, from miss selfridge a few yrs back, which i love..but only wear in summer with glads..took me a long time to track it down, and my mum ended up having to pay loads on ebay as it sold out of stores by the time she tried to get it for my bday, bless her!

I really do need that dress.

My pledge, when I get back to a size I can relax in I'm going to get a firend to help be cu a pattern for something similar, and wear it ALL SUMMER LONG. Be warned if you are reading my MSE friend who I will call upon....you also promised to teach me how to get the tension right and thread my machine without kicking it and swearing...:)

I wonder if I'd be able to find one second hand? Gulp, I'd buy it if I thought I could fit in it....

My current maxis: one is from M and S ...last summer, one was from....um, predictably, monsoon.

I keep scouring for more on there but nothing has taken my fancy much lately, I really want a jersey one.

I think it's naptime for me

Ohhh thanks Daisy. Our tiny NL in the town didn't have any but I'm probably going to a bigger store on Saturday. I might have a look for one in a size 14 - now that's an incentive !

It's DDs turn to shop this weekend, they both need summer clothes so I've promised them a trip into Brighton. They both have a budget so it's up to them where they spend it (I'm hoping Primark:rotfl:).

Lost you are so right about the bra. I keep on at my Mum (who's quite overweight) that she wouldn't look or feel half as bad if she just lifted her boobs up into a well fitting bra! I got her as far a Tesco and then instigated trying some different sizes on and some underwire but she needed a bigger size than they went up to.

I'd love to take her to Bravissimo as have heard good things about them but I know she'd never pay that much for a bra. I'm going to have another push, maybe take her to debenhams because her back is far too big, and she has the four boob look and then some, spiling out everywhere.

As a result she buys clothes that are far too big so that the "lumps" don't show. It's such a shame but I know she'd feel so good once they're under control!

    I hope she isn't reading this:o

I hate the fact I HAVE to spend £30 to get a decent fitting bra, regardless of how it looks. You can't find a cheap 32F anywhere!

I adore Monsoon their stuff is so feminine...I normally search the stuff on the website and put the name of the item into ebay...theres normally some good stuff on there, havent bought any Monsoon in ages though.

Bra you mean? Other wise there is a greatjoke in their about cheap, boobs and WAGs :o

I find it hard to get ANY bras that fits TBH. I'm not so huge anymore, they just aren't sitting right.

    I'm an E cup ATM.
