I got 2 bags of each today and I shall get more next time I am in. They are having some plastic mixing bowls in on Thursday 21st, which I am interested in look at as I need some good ones so my children can bake along side me, learning and earning their keep! My crock bowl is older than me so far to precious for them to use just yet and I broke my spare by dropping a bottle of perfume in it!Donna

I went into Lidl first this morning and noticed their flour was 42p a bag so left it and called at Aldi where it was 28p BUT, the Lidl one is 1.5kg, the Aldi one is only 1kg so in effect they work out the same price.
Perhaps if you are limited for areas where you are going to shove the spare bags it may be better buying the Aldi ones.0 -
I bought a large red pepper in Lidls - 29p. It's becoming more important to shop around supermarkets (if you have the time). Prices in the main ones are getting higher every day." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

That's crazy, red peppers are about 80p in Sainsburys and I use them a lot in meals as they're quick and healthy. That's a good saving and it's amazing how much money you can save by just shopping around a little.0

It's a necessity if you have the time, that's for sure.
If you have a £idl near you, it's always worth checking their website for the price of their peppers, and they're almost always on offer.
I also use huge amounts of them. After my local £idl 29p Red Pepper offer finished last week, it ran - and was still running as at today - an offer of a pack of 3 for 79p - which is still considerably cheaper than all the main sm's.
Go to their website, feed in your postcode, and it'll give you offers on at the store closest to youAug11 £193.29/£240
