Is the Tesco 4p curry sauce any good ?
It depends what you like really. I don't like curry normally, but I like this as it reminds me of the curry sauce I used to get from the chip shop when I was young.
I don't actually use it to make a curry meal, I just use it like a pouring sauce.
Having said that, it's not made from rubbish. They have just used the minimum ingredients necessary to make a basic curry sauce.
If I were you I would try it, it will only cost you 4p. Just don't plan on making a meal with it, add it to an existing meal.
And as I said earlier, you may need to look on the floor for it.0 -
Tesco have stopped making value bran flakes, changed to a posher box and charging £1.58 rather than 85p...:silenced:They Were Up In Arms wrote: »I think tabskitten is a crying, walking, sleeping, talking, living troll :cool:0

Hi motherkitty,
As this is about grocery prices I've moved it over to the Grocery Shopping board where you should get more replies.
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.

Lots of prices gone sky high in Tesco this week. My usual brand of coffee has gone up 20p.
Have never tried the cheap curry sauce but to be fair it still does sound very cheap.0 -

And this morning the head of Tesco was on the news announcing Tesco profits increased by 10% again this year. I wonder why?HariboJunkie wrote: »Have never tried the cheap curry sauce but to be fair it still does sound very cheap.
Their curry sauce is the only thing I go into Tesco for.
It is cheap, but it is not "rubbish". Basically it's just the minimum ingredients you need to make a curry. The ingredients in it are also in more expensive curry sauces, but the more expensive ones also have other ingredients in them to make them better.
I like it because it is the same as the curry I used to get in the chip shop when I was young.0 -
What odds on the price not returning to the pre volcanic eruption value?
That curry will end up being about 6 or 7p I guess when the planes start flying again.0
