My staple breakfast is 4 or 5 tablespoons of plain couscous, covered in boiling water and left to absorb (about 5-10 mins). Fluff up with a fork and add one chopped banana and a Mullerlight. It is quick, tasty and really filling - keeps me going till lunchtime.

'Marions rice' is simply pudding rice cooked with water instead of milk. Add sweetener if preferred and when it's cooked add yoghurt and chopped fresh fruit - similar to the above but not as quick to make, although there will be people who prefer rice to couscous.
Thanks- I may give this a go. Can the couscous recipe be made in advance (ie the night before) so it's ready to go in the morning?

Wll tried the breakfast rice this moring and it was lovely. Not the quickest breakfast but good for weekends or non work days, i made it with the raspberry and cranbery mullerlight and some defrosted frozen raspberries, I had it when it was warm and will definately make it again x

Well, it's so quick I've never tried to do it the day before, but in any case I like mine still warm. You could make it even quicker by pouring the boiling water over and then zapping it in the microwave for a couple of minutes.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Didn't get chance to come on here last week. Well done with the losses everyone.
I lost 1 and half so that makes 5 in 2 weeks and I was slimmer of the week too which was nice!:j Got my first sticker as well as lots of lovely fruit.
I weigh in again on wed so will pop back on again then. We are having a bbq/ picnic taster so have got to think of something nice to take that doesn't cost too much to make. Any ideas ladies?

Also wanted to add that I had my first "go on just one won't hurt" moment yesterday. I was at a kids party and my friend's husband bought us cakes to go with our coffee even though he knew 2 of us were trying to slim. I replied " sorry I'm not eating cake at the moment thanks". Has anyone else had people try to sabotage their weight loss? My DH went too much the other way today. I bought a choc cheesecake for everyone for pud and I had fresh pineapple and muller on top. I left a small piece on the serving plate thinking I may just eat that later but hubby scoffed that piece too in the kitchen! His excuse was that I would only have been tempted ( i would I know but he could have given his first piece chance to go down!)

Ha ha thrifty my oh is exactly the same, my mil bought round a box of fresh cream chocolate eclairs at the weekend and worked one out to be about 7 or 8 syns so i ear marked one for later in the evening, went to the fridge about 8 and it was gone, oh insisted he had eaten it for my benefit and insisted a mullerlight would be better for me, could have blo*dy throttled him.

ive had loads of people making comments about how much weight i should or shouldnt loose, people bringing stuff into work and insisting they've bought my favourites especially for my benefit so i really have to have one. The only thing i can say is no as theres no way im cheating, im sick of starting off well on any diet then failing so if people cant handle the fact im finally losing weight its tough.

for the picnic/bbq taster what aout potato salad or coleslaw made with extra light mayo x

I'm going to join SW (off to Mexico in Sep:D).
I hate the AA style meeting but I like the fact that you can eat regular food & just loose most of the treats.

Are they ever going to do a monthly direct debit thing like WW do you think? Especially now as they all have plastic cards?

i think you pay just under £25 and for that you get 6 meetings so it saves you a fiver. We were told last week as we've got our electronic cards that if we pay the £25 we have to tell all holidays we want when we pay as you can't book them once you've paid the money. When i questioned it i was told by the leader its because its not designed to save you money but to encourage you to come to group every week x
