Well I've left my group - I resent paying money just to be weighed and hearing other people's weights - wish I could find one like catsy's group.
Will sign up on-line once I can afford itHope it doesn't lose my info!

I'm really pleased that Catsy enjoys her group, but actually, the formula for each group all over the country is supposed to be exactly the same and should include going round the group and reading out the weight loss or the fact that there has been a gain (no actual weights should be mentioned).
I agree with you that this can be especially boring if it's a large group, but looking at it from another perspective - if you have had a good weight loss and it's read out to the group who will congratulate you (and often envy you), you can see that this can be a magic moment for the member. Also if you're struggling, a good group will get behind you and encourage you with hints and tips for overcoming your problem.
It's a shame you felt you had to leave, but before you do, have you thought about trying out any other local groups till you find a Consultant you like? We have such a laugh at my group that many members consider it to be their 'night out with the girls'....the atmosphere is lovely
PS: Don't forget that you don't only pay for the weighing, you also get the use of the website which is invaluable for looking up syn values and for the fantastic recipe archive. IMO the online site doesn't give the same motivation to follow the plan.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

The group isn't really helpful as their suggestions aren't any good for me, because of my diet needs.
I love the diet and the website but the group lets it down. I work two different shifts and the other groups in the area are all too early for the days I work lateNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

hey!
welcome to the group!
what plan are you following? and are you enjoying? x0 -
doing more food optimising than extra easy as i think extra easy doesn't work quickly enough for my liking.
the group is ok but the consultant is a bit of joke, she's a bit of a big woman who is doing the diet but doesn't seem to care if she gains or loses, who then has a moan at group members if they gain, bit of a pish take if you ask me!0 -

This is the same at my group, The leader lost loads of weight but has put it all back on, bearing in mind they put it back on about 3 years ago, theyve lost a bit but theyve got about 7 more stone too lose.
Some people in the group like it cos they say it shows the kinds of struggle you might have, personally when they start lecturing everyone on how to eat it does wind me up a bit. They blatantly cant be trying cos they lose no weight at weigh in and over easter commented on how they had eaten 6 hot cross buns dripping with butter, to be honest i didnt find it very encouraging.March 2014 Grocery challenge £250.000 -
