I have been very bad this weekend :( Was very down after that 1.5Ib gain on thursday (so of course, the sensible thing to do was to eat rubbish over the weekend )
Anyhoo, I've deceided to go to the doctors today as it seems as though I may have IBS (which would explain the way I was feeling on Thursday) but it's been going on for years and I've been ignoring it. Hopefully, if the doctor agrees, it will help me get an idea of how to deal with it and I can start going forwards. I'm also gonna ask to be double checked it's not coeliac disease as the symptoms are very similar and I have family members with coeliac disease. Well, I'll see what the doctor says. :o
  • oh good luck honey with the doctors appointment! x

BBQ's can be quite good on SW. You just have to plan ahead, sponatneous BBQs are quite bad :p

If I'm having a good BBQ I would have homemade burgers (0.5syns each) steak or chicken kebabs (chicken and veg on skewers) salad, save HEB for bread for burger and HEA for cheese. You can also have BBQ bananas for afters (take a stip out of top of banana skin. Stick in a few choc buttons- not sure how many syns. Not much for a treat bag size. Wrap in tin foil and then put on the BBQ at the end as it is cooling until banana is cooked and choc button all melted :p)

    I like:
    • Salmon, veg + potato wedges (could be jacket potato)
    • Steak, salad + potato wedges (yes, I like potato wedges :rotfl:)
    • Spaghetti bolognese
    • Chilli + rice (or potato wedges! :rotfl:)
    • Chicken chow mein (chicken marinated in soy sauce, ginger + chinese 5 spice. Fry in wok. Stir fry veg in more soy sauce. Serve with noodles. Possibly in oyster sauce for about 0.5 or 1 syn-ish)
    • Steak stir fry (as above but steak instead of chicken)
    • Chicken and bacon and gruyere cheese kebabs (Cheese 28g = HEA) Wrap cubes of cheese in bacon, thread on kebabs with pieces of chicken and red pepper and onion. This is yum! Serve with salad or veg
    • Potato wedges (surprise!) with beans and cheese (HEA) yummy comfort food
That's all I can think off for now. I'll keep thinking.. I'll try and think of something with out potato wedges :rotfl:

    *edit*
    • Cajun cheesy chicken with roasted veg. Roast peppers, onions, mushroom, courgettes (whatever you like) sprayed with frylight. Coat checken in Schwartz Shotz Seasoning, Cajun Chicken (free on all choices) when all cooked top with HEA cheese. Yum (I use reduced fat cheese so I can get bigger portion of cheese :p)
    • Homemade burgers with salad.
