Problem with online golf company

    Like lots of people have been fooled by this lot. Order month ago not delivery fobbed of with the usual excused am off to talk to my credit card provided.
    From this thread it appears point less to chase them
    Will never use this lot again

    Hi to you all from Sweden,

    I had similar issues like the most of you in this thread.
    Ordered (and paid) a Sky Caddie SGX from TG on the 14th of september. Shipping time was set to 1-2 days.
    The day after I received a mail in which they declare that the Sky Caddie isn´t in stock, therefore it could take 5-7 working days before my order being proceed.
    Within a couple of days my order status changed to "awaiting shipment" in "My account" on the website.
    The order status did not change after that period so i have tried to contact them whit several mail without succes. No answer at all.
    Yesterday i sent a mail and ask them if i have been cheated and if the whole webshop is a fraud. Haven´t got any answer on that either.
    But......When i logged in on TG today on "My side" to check "Order status" i could read this:
    You haven't placed any orders with us. When you do, their status will appear on this page.
    and when i check "Completed orders"
    You don't have any completed orders with us. When you do, they will appear on this page.
    They have quite simply erase my order !!!!
    How about that?

    Guess that i have to hunt them down over the telephone.
    I shall also contact my credit card company i ask what my possibilitys are to have the money refund.

    One hour after posting the text above i send TG a new mail. In the end of the mail i wrote this.
    "
    So……here is the deal now
    You have 24hr (until tomorrow at 02.00 pm) to respond to this mail and give a good reason for your less of action.
    Otherwise
    - I contact my credit card company and tell them that the money (348 GBP) should be refund.
    - I should fulfill a report to the police that my purchase in Tomorrows golfers web shop, ends up in a fraud.
    "
    About 2 hours after , Tomorrows Golfer shut down their Website wiht following words
    Tomorrows Golfer Website is under maintenance. Please visit us later.
    So......I´m wonder, whats comes next ???
  • I wouldnt go anywhere near these people. I ordered a pair of oakley sunglasses on the 7th july. They were shown as in stock. The following day i checked my account, & they were shown as packing. In the following 2 months i never received my item or any contact from them except when i emailed them on numerous occasions to find out what was happening. I received the same excuses (shipment delayed at customs) etc etc. Nearly 3 weeks ago they replied to an email saying it would be best if they cancelled the order as they were struggling to get the glasses, which they had said were in stock when i ordered them 2 months earlier!!!!!!!!! since then, ive received no refund. ive emailed 3 times & got no response. Their website is down (for maintanance)!!!!! , & when i called, i got there answer machine which then cut me off after the beep!!!!!!! Ive now contacted my credit card company to deal with it & i will be contacting Trading Standards. All i can advise is:

    STEER WELL CLEAR!!!!!!!:mad:
  • Guys, sorry to report this but I have been conned as well. Ordered a Leupold GX4 range finder which they indicated was in stock. But since then it has been the usual stuck in customs, sent back to manufacturer, deliver issues etc. All lies it appears.

    Not responding to emails now, and the phone number goes to voice mail but cuts off after about 5 seconds.

    Will now be contacting credit card company, police, and Trading Standards.

    DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THESE FRAUDSTERS.

    Same story, same excuses. Wish I'd found this site first. Ordered SG5 on 31st August, then usual lame excuses ie delay in shipping & customs, now no reply on phones or emails. Credit card company now involved. Is there nothing else can be done to save other people being conned? How do they manage to have a link to ebay, Amazon and the Painswick Pro shop?

    Yeah we get it, enough with the multi posts.

    I don't understand why people need these devices anyway? There are perfectly good 150 & 100 yd markers on all golf courses, and most have 200 yard markers too. Knowing the middle of the green is 107 yards away isn't going to make a blind bit of difference from all the evidence already around you.

    Spend it in the bar instead ;).

  • Yes I am awaiting postage of a Skycaddie and have received excuses to delivery problems... I AM REPORTING THEM TO POLICE AND INFORMING MY CC.

    I ordered in good faith with hard earned money...
