  • Also thank you to whoever mentioned we three kings - I'm going to get in touch with them and find out how much it would cost to get our rings from there. It may not cost less than the high street but love that I am getting something custom made.

Also has anyone had any joy in terms of figuring out a way of having flowers for less ... wishful thinking perhaps or misson impossible...

Find out what flowers are in season, as they'll be a lot cheaper than something that has to either be grown abroad and shipped or grown indoors with a lot of extra resources - this might be of use. You'll need to scroll down a bit, and on the left you can click on the month you're getting married, where it'll bring up all the flowers in season in that month.

It's always worth asking round family and friends to see if anyone knows a florist who might give you 'mates rates'...

There is someone reasonable in Burford for flowers but i don't know who or where so thats probably a bit rubbish even to mention it. I am tempted to go for artificial then sell on after if money is tight. There are some nice ones on ebay.

The girl who is doing my flowers works out of her garage so no shop overheads - might be a bit cheaper? She's had some fab ideas for mine so far and I'm sure she would work to a budget - try http://www.distinctivepetals.co.uk

  • I have been looking at chair covers and am finding they are super expensive - does anyone know of anywhere in Oxfordshire (I am in Banbury) which hires out the actual chairs - I have been told this could be cheaper?

Hope everyones plans are coming on well!

I was looking the other day and saw somewhere in witney i went to look again and i could not find it .

Try by searching for conference chairs hire in google. If you put in wedding you just get covers.

http://www.ukfurniturehire.co.uk/desks.html the chairs say from 33p a day for the black with royal blue seats.

I definitely saw another website much better cannot find it now it had much more weddingly chairs

    found it
