Getting married in Oxfordshire

Hi all,
In case anyone needs to buy some cheap wine for their wedding the co-op in Witney have some nice bottles for a very good price. Other co-ops might have a similar deal. I also bought my champers this weekend from co-op for 9 pounds a bottle and it was very nice - had to try one before buying 30 bottles - seemed only sensible.0 -
We got married and had the reception at the Bay Tree in Burford. Got the whole hotel exclusive, had a sitdown meal and music, with a bbq late into the night. was wonderful0

Hi all,
Am trying to find a DJ at the moment, but it's proving quite difficult so I thought I would ask to see if anyone is able to recommend one?
Ideally, we are looking for someone to set up about 4pm, play background music throughout the meal and provide a mic for the speeches, then do an evening disco from 7-11.30pm - all for less than £400! Can it be done?!
Thanks in advance.0 -

Just 10 days to go now and I am so so excited.
Most things are in place but next week is when we pick up the cake, dress, flowers, meet the photographer etc etc. I've booked myself in for a pamper day as I thought I would need it, but actually I feel quite relaxed!
Oxfordshire is looking so lovely at the moment with all the daffodils and blossom starting to come out and the little lambs and it's just all confirmation why we chose March to get married. The sign of new life and hope.0 -
Anyone know where i can hire or buy a cake stand from in witney or nearby?0

Does anyone have any rec's for hair and make up in Oxfordshire please - specifically near Abingdon if possible? I was going to do it myself but think I have changed my mind since having it done for my boudior shoot, so am now looking for someone else to do it instead! Only trouble is, I hadn't budgeted anything for it and everyone I've looked at so far seems so expensive!0
