Just seen NARS foundation advertised that Nicole Kidman apparently uses in shade Mont Blonc. £28, a matte foundation, does look good if it does what it says on the pot!

Thanks to this thread I've discovered Revlon Colourstay and I love it! After much searching, I'm sticking with this now! Thanks to whoever recommended it!
I have about three practically full bottles/tubes of other foundation which are no use to me now - maybe I could ebay them?
Thanks again x0 -

Ebay them for sure!
Pleased you like the Revlon too, its the best foundation I have ever used. And I have used loads:rotfl:0 -
i swear by RMK - ok, not exactly cheap, but perfect colour match for my pale pale skin and lasts a long time. i've switched to their powder from the liquid foundation and the coverage is still very good (i get pale skin and problems with spots - so glowing red bits show up quite a lot!). when it runs out next, i think i'll try the revlon option.....:happyhear0

Hi
I'd recommend a powdered mineral foundation, they're light and subtle and easy to apply. They're also SPF 15 and suitable for sensitive skin.
The best and CHEAPEST BY FAR is from a company called eyeslipsface -use google to find their UK website (as I'm a new user and it won't allow me to post the link).
I get all my makeup from there - absolutely fantastic stuff!
KimHi, I don't have much experience with make up, I cleanse and moisturise daily and very occasionally wear mascara and concealer.
I'm getting to the point where I want to even my skin tone out a bit (I look a bit washed out and saggy) but the foundation I've tried (a Max Factor one in creamy ivory) isn't light enough. Can any pale people recommend something that won't make me look orange? I am not sure whether I would be better off with tinted moisturiser rather than foundation?

I asked Vicki if they did samples of the NARS and they dont. SO I tried a bit on my hand and face and it was similar to the bobbi brown stuff. IMHO not worth the money, Revlon is way better. Going to stick with the colour stay one as the Revlon photo one wasnt as thick and nice.0
