Help me out, apart from Missmotivation

Sorry I meant there is one, not some, posting. My bad

Can't help with the glasses though.

    Better find those glasses then!

If you read the thread, you'll notice that there are some well respected agents already posting here...

Indeed one of which has experience of both percentage and fixed fee selling.
Googler the one with the lost spectacles, maybe lefy them by his abacus.

    *clears throat*.....and what's wrong with me? :p

Princessamy is an EA and I think Chickmug is still around somewhere
My home is usually the House Buying, Renting and Selling Forum where I can be found trying to (sometimes unsucessfully) prove that not all Estate Agents are crooks. With 20 years experience of Sales/Lettings and having bought and sold many of my own properties I've usually got something to say ;)

Sorry Missmotivation, you have openly made clear your identity.

Do you think a poll would be good or to early.

And how do you go about setting it up.
  • Googler where are you, I am sure you are preparing something interesting for me.
Will give you a bit more time.

I'm not sure a poll would tell us anything different than the posts on this thread TBH.

I do think another thread, with a different title would be better though as this one is misleading.

I've no idea how to start a poll.

£299+vat is pretty common in the 'big smoke'. I'd have thought outside london things would be cheaper. Maybe they don't instruct many HIPs for their contractor so don't get a good rate for them?

Possibly, although you would think with the competition from Hips4u, Fridays and the like they would be more competitive.

I agree - this is a forum where all views are aired and discussed not a place for snide comments.

Indeed but, as with so much to do with this thread, some people like the fact you can instruct one agent to do everything and probably won't look elsewhere. Whats £50 when your spending £2000 I suppose.
