I've been for a 20 min walk around the castle this morning with Ds2 (earning 1 bonus point). We fed the ducks and saw 6 tiny ducklings. They were so sweet following their Mummy duck around everywhere.

    Todays food

    Milk allowance - 1 - 24
    2 x toast with spread & marmite - 4.5 - 19.5
    Apple, small banana & natural yogurt - 2.5 -17
    2 x rice cakes - 1 -16
    Apple - 0.5 -15.5
    Ravioli on toast - 5 - 10.5
    Apple - 0.5- 10
    Spag bol - 8 - 2
    Cereal bar - 1.5 - 0.5
    Apple - 0.5 - 0

I'm really hungry this morning for some reason. I can't wait for lunch time.

I've really struggled today. I've been hungry all day and have just had Tea and am still hungry. I'm going to have a think about getting the most out of my points. I was stood for ages earlier staring at the biscuits, thinking i could have 2 for 1 point. Then i thought no if i start i won't stop. Then i was thinking i could just eat the whole packet and start my diet again tomorrow. Then i got a grip and thought no i really want to fit into those clothes and i'm never going to do it if i can't even last 4 days without giving in.:o It's so hard.:(

I have however done 15mins of Just Dance earning 2.5 bonus points, it was fun but hard work after not doing it for about a month.

So all in all today i've used all of my 25 points allowance and earned 3.5 bonus points.

I suppose it depends on how long your nails were, if they were really long you may have lost an 0z.:D I always wondered if having a hair cut would make much of a difference.:rotfl:

I'm pleased that i didn't give in yesterday, i'm feeling a lot better this morning. Although that could be because i have a whole days worth of points to use.

    Todays food

    Milk allowance - 1 - 24
    2 x toast, spread & marmite - 4.5 - 19.5
    Sweetcorn soup - 1 - 18.5
    Bread roll with spread - 3 - 15.5
Small piece of Hm sponge cake - 4.5 - 11  i should have worked out the points before i ate it.
    Fish fingers, chips & peas - 5 - 6
    Low cal hot choc - 0.5 - 5.5
    Banana - 1.5 - 4
    Sweetcorn soup - 2 - 2
    Toast , spread & marmite - 2 - 0

Today i have used all of my 25 points allowance and haven't earned any bonus points.
  • I am 5 foot 7 and weigh 158lbs, I do have a fairly big frame. How much would you say I need to lose??

I have been eating really healthy all year and I have a treadmil which I go on about 5 times a week for at least 20 minutes a go, I have given up smoking.

My body has changed but my weight doesn't seem to have gone down by that much (max 14lb).

    What am I doing wrong?

O and by the way the skin on my face is really bad and I am nearly 30 and I have never suffered from acne before.

It makes you feel like eating the junk again!

giddingsno1, i would say losing 14lbs this year is good going. :T Also if your body shape has changed you've probably gained muscle instead of fat which is probably why you're not seeing the results you want on the scales. I know myself if i do a lot of exercise i notice the loss in inches rather than lbs. If you find you're getting hung up on the weight try not weighing for a while but take measurements instead. I don't know about the skin sorry, i'm about the same age as you and still wondering when i'm going to be grown up enough to not have spots.:(

ETA i've calculated your BMI ( this should be taken as a guide only ) and you are in the normal weight range, so maybe you don't need to lose any weight at all.
  • Thanks for your reply! I have a feeling that my acne is down to the pill which I started taking 2 months ago, back to the docs it is!

woohooo...I can now do a dress up that I couldnt a fortnight ago :)
tbh I think that it may be partly down to that time of the month boob swelling thing...but I have trimmed up a little bit without really dieting or doing anything mega strenuous. My new secret weapon is a hula hoop!! Bought it a little while ago intending to join a class...havent found a class but do 10 mins hooping a day and I can see a diffeence in my waist already
Also I 'clench'...squeeze buttocks and thighs, hold for 5-10 seconds, release and repeat as much as you can! It's easy to do and I do it now while I'm driving to work, or in meetings - amazing how it takes your mind off a boring manager when you're focussing on slim thighs lol. I used to do this a while ago and noticed that things generally tightened up...and of course it's FREE!!! :j

Well done ellay864 :T. You're braver than me with the hula hoop, i've got no co-ordination and can't do it. Even on the wii it gives me a stitch.:o I was sat here clenching reading your post.:D
