    I didn't get to weigh last week (Thursday) as we were babysitting. Also had visitors over the weekend with lots of food I wouldn't normally eat hanging around (not that I've eaten much of it), so I don't think I will have lost much this week either. Going to get weighed Thursday if I can, otherwise it will be Saturday.

    Do you mind if I join your thread hollyh? I had a read through last night and it seems I'm in the same boat as the rest of you.

    Got loads of clothes that I bought last year and due to winter, christmas and living in a new area (can't go walking) I've piled on so much weight nothing fits me anymore.

    I'm 5ft, 10 stone 7 and am determined to fit into my nice clothes when summer arrives.

    Have changed my diet, am ordering an exercise bike next week (waiting for amazon vouchers to arrive coz OH got them cheap) and have started running around the house to keep me going. I need encouragement too and in the meantime, I can help egg anyone on that's having trouble :-)

    Pretty please with a ryvita and light philly on top! :-)
    Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)

    Congratulations to those who lost this week, commisserations to those who didn't - don't lose heart, stick with it and you'll get a weight loss next time.

    Got weighed on Thursday as usual, and have lost another pound! (This was over 2 weeks though). It surprised me because I was convinced I'd put on as I'd been a bit lax with the healthy eating, and had Mother's Day, visitors last weekend, grandson's 2nd birthday party and today, hubby's birthday to contend with. But hey ho, it's another pound towards my target, and slowly and surely is the way to go.

    Hi all,

    I'm sorry i've been awol, it's partly because i've been ill with a bad cold bug that i can't seem to shake and partly shame because i've been so bad.:o I didn't even weigh yesterday as i was too scared.:eek: I need to get back on track though or i'll never fit into those clothes.:( I'm starting afresh today and i may weigh next Fri or i might wait until the 19th April.

    Welcome screamer i'll add you to the list.

    Can everyone post their weight and size as of the 19th March please so i can update the 1st post with how everyone's done.

    I'm going to start posting what i've eaten again then i'll feel too guilty to be bad if i have to confess.:o

    2 x Toast with spread & pineapple jam
    2 x Toast with spread & beans
    Apple
    Low calorie hot chocolate

    For tea i'm going to have

    Veg curry with rice & 1/2 low fat naan bread

    Then i'll only have 1/2 point left. I may not have the naan bread then i will save 3 points. I'm starving though so i will see how i feel when it's ready.

    I haven't done any exercise today, i'm still not feeling 100% so don't want to push my luck.

    Hi All been a bit rubbish in updating you all but i went down to 12st 13lbs but after Mothers day and 3 meals out I put on 2lbs so back to 13st 1lb got my weigh in Monday so promise to update you then but have slipped this week by eating a cake or 2 but fingers cross its better than last week plus no meals out!

    Congrats LOSERS! I never thought I'd be happy about being called a loser but I am. Yay for us.

    Have lost 4 lb in a week. I'm 10 stone 3. I have been very naughty over the weekend but am already making up for it. I have chicken virtually every day but that's because I love the stuff and never get bored of it.

    OH downloaded an exercise DVD for me..... Carmen Electra Advanced Aerobic Striptease. No thanks Mr Screamer lol. He's bought me an exercise bike for my birthday but won't let me have it until the day so I've got another 2 weeks of no exercise. I did manage to get some gardening done though which worked up quite a sweat and I ached for 2 days but hey, no pain no gain.

    Keep going ladies, we can do it!!!

  • Well 1 lb on this week :mad: but still 1 lb loss overall since I started this so it's a small move in the right direction. I was a bit snack-happy last week so I'm not surprised to be honest. Back on the wagon again today, grilled chicken and cous-cous is what I am planning for dinner. My trousers are feeling looser on me today, so maybe I am losing inches instead of lbs.

    Hi Hollyh

    My weight was 15 stone exactly, so I lost 6.5 lbs in all... ( think you put me down at 15st 7 to start, but it was 15st 6.5 lbs). Not sure of my size because I'm still wearing the same clothes. Some of my trousers are a bit looser though. I'll still put size 18/20 down.

    OMG. Weighed myself yesterday and am 2lbs heavier than starting weight. This must be due to semi-stressful Easter holidays and not watching what I eat....

    Have started afresh today with melon for breakfast and am making large vat of soup to sustain me through the week. AAAaaaaarrrrrrgggghhhhhh
