  • Can I join please? I am about 10 st 4 (seems to vary up and down a little) and need to lose about 2 stone to get back to the weight I feel happy at. None of my clothes fit and today is day 1 of getting back to being skinny!
    I'm about a size 12-14 (and I am happiest in a size 8 and all my nice clothes are that size) - a pregnancy that ended in m/c and all the stress that went with it is why I have put on the weight and my self esteem is low, I just seemed to balloon this time round, now I just want to get back to being me xx
    I have realised I will never play the Dane! :(

    Where are my medals? Everyone else on here has medals!! :p

    I'm sorry i've been in hiding.:o I've lost the plot completely diet wise and i've been too ashamed to come here or to weigh myself.:eek: I think i've put on everything i lost & more. I'm going to weigh in the morning and see what the damage is. :( Welcome to everyone who's joined and well done to everyone who's lost weight.:T I'll update the 1st post tomorrow as i need to go to bed now so i can hopefully get up early and get on the wii fit. I needed to post quickly before i lost the courage.:cool:

    Can I also join please? I'm at 11 stone now and really need to get back to no more than 10, ideally 9 and half. A couple of years back I went from 11st 4 to 9st 12, then went on holiday and after that it piled back on. Haven't got below about 10st 7 since then. 6 weeks ago I thought I had an incentive as I've a health assessment on 6 May....and how much have I lost in those 6 weeks? NONE!!!! Realy don't want to have buy yet more summer clothes so need to do something about it

    hollyh you make me feel sooooo much better about my complete inadequacy!! I think I was trying too much too soon and am now not being obsessive about it but just eating really sensibly and thinking about what I eat. I was trying to crash diet the weight off to see quick results:cool:. Anyway, I'm back, more focussed and going for the long term result rather than the quick fix....fingers crossed.

    I weighed this morning and i'm now 14st 10lbs :o which means i'm 2lbs heavier than my start weight too Cosmomo. I'm glad it's not just me.:D I'm really going to try my best to stick to it this time and not to disappear if it's not going well.

    I've been for a 20 min walk around the Castle this morning with Ds2.( earning 1 bonus point ) I'll try and do HH on the Wii fit at some point today, and if OH wants to go for a walk after work i'm going too.

    I've eaten

    Milk allowance - 1 point - 24 left
    2 Weetabix - 3 points - 21 left
    Greggs tuna sub - 4.5 points - 16.5 left
    3 x Rice cakes - 1.5 points - 15 points left
    Cereal bar - 1.5 points - 13.5 points left
    Chicken - 2 points - 11.5 points left
    Mashed potato - 3.5 points - 8 points left
    Veg - 0 points
    Gravy - 0.5 points - 7.5 points left
    Fruit cocktail & natural yogurt - 1.5 points - 6 points left
    3 x Rice cakes - 1.5 points - 4.5 points left
    Cheerios - 3 points - 1.5 points left

    I've been for a 50 min walk to bunny land ( as Ds2 calls it ) with OH and Ds2 earning another 2.5 bonus points.

    So all in all today i have used 23.5 / 25 points allowance and earned 3.5 bonus points.

    My alarm didn't go off so i got up 15 mins before we were meant to leave this morning.:eek: I had to do the school & nursery runs and go to the market with greasy hair and no make up.:eek::eek: No exercise as yet but i'll do some at some point today i'm sure.

    Food today

    Milk allowance - 1 point - 24 points left
    Small banana - 1 point - 23 points left
    Cheerios - 3 points - 20 points left
    Tuna roll - 4 points - 16 points left
    Strawberries, grapes & natural yogurt - 2 points - 14 points left
    Rice - 3 points - 11 points left
    Curry i have no idea how many points were in this, i'm going to have to work it out.

    I didn't manage to get on the wii fit yesterday as i fell asleep on the sofa at 9pm.:cool: Hopefully today i'll be able to squeeze it in. No walk at the castle today either as Ds2 wanted to go to the park instead. It's not going well this exercise malarky. I must try harder. Food wise i've been good, i doubt the curry last night would have taken me much over as it was home made. I'm going out for lunch today, i'm going to choose a healthish option and i will NOT be getting pick & mix afterwards.

    Todays food

    Milk allowance - 1 - 24
    Cheerios- 3 - 21
    Grapes & apple with natural yogurt - 2.5 - 18.5
    4 x Rice cakes - 2 - 16.5
    Ham, egg & chips - 7.5 - 9
    Cheese & coleslaw sandwich - 5.5 - 3.5
    Cheerios - 3 - 0.5
    Apple - 0.5 - 0

    I've done HH on the wii fit ( which nearlly killed me :o). That means today i've used all of my 25 points allowance and earned 2 bonus points.

    hahha.. i only manage to do the 1 and 2... then i do some tae-bo... and then i get so tired... !! i started doing it 4 days ago.. so i am trying to do this for a week.. then i will add number 3 and after a week number 4.. and hopefully the whole work out the week after....
