May I join please? I have have read the first page of the thread, I will catch up tonight. Weightwatchers have helped in the past but I don't want the expense and inconvenience of going now (two children).

Here goes, I weigh 18 stone 1 pound, size 22 - 24, 5ft 4 1/2.:o This is the heavest I have ever weighed, including my two pregnancies. I haver lots of lovely smaller sized clothes.

Thinking of getting the Wii fit, is it any good? Not sure my son will like me using his Wii all the time though, lol. I love walking and swimming and once we get some warmer weather I will do more.

Well done to everyone who lost this week.

arroli, if you can say, hand on heart, you've been good all week, then you WILL lose weight, it might not have been this week, but stay good for another few days and I bet you'll get a good loss next week.:D

You're right, it could be fat turning to muscle, it could also be water retention, weighing at a different time of day, eating later at night before weighing in the morning, or simply not being on the right amount of calories, there are 1001 reasons to not lose, but do it right and it will happen soon.:T

morocha that food sounds delicious i wish i had a MIL who cooked me yummy food.

    Well done neveah.:T

arroli i'm sorry you didn't lose weight but you're probably right about the fat turning to muscle which weighs more. Do your clothes feel a bit looser? I expect it'll all even out soon and you'll start seeing a loss on the scales.

Welcome Poppycat i love my Wii fit plus but others have said it's not great for them. I like i can just get on it whenever i have a chance and it adds up the calories burnt and the minutes done. It's fun as well and doesn't feel like exercise until i stop and can't breathe. The Just dance game for the wii is fab as well and you don't need the balance board for it.

Yesterday i used 25/25 points allowance and didn't do any exercise. I'm still feeling really positive and don't want to give up which is good going for me.:D
