Hi all
here is another one for the APS financial scam. its been two weeks since i activated my card and still nothing i have spent a fortune trying to ring them and just receiving the same reply that am in a queue and will be answered shortly i have now emailed the FOS as stated on the back of the letter from APS, if i hear anything i will surely let you all know but am not holding out much hope the same as everyone else on here. This is a SCAM company and we have all been duped by them so sorry guys hope you all have better news than i have had0 -
Hi guys me again
Have been doing bit of research (lol bit late but better late than never) it is a bit disturbing what i have been reading have a look below and see what you think
"The Wilkies are no strangers to companies that fold There was Mortgages 4All Limited, wound up by the High Court last April. It was run by Mark and Emma. Then there was APS (Financial Services) Limited. It went into liquidation last year, after failing to file accounts for many years. Its director was Ian Wilkie, who also ran APS (Estate Agencies) Limited. This also went into liquidation.
There is still APS (Independent Financial Solutions) Limited, run by Mark and Emma. But it may not be long for this world. Accounts legally due in March 2005 have still not been filed and Companies House officials may strike it off.
The National Association of Estate Agents says clients' money must be ring-fenced from company funds. Sadly, though, neither Brayton Estates nor Greener Holdings is a member, and NAEA head Peter Bolton King tells me
he is having to fight to get the Government to take seriously the problem of lettings agents who collect rents and then fail to hand over the cash.
Perhaps this should worry customers of the surviving APS Estates branches. The business's website at askaps.co.uk still advertises: 'Letting your property couldn't be easier with APS.' Mind you, the same website claims links to Legal & General that the insurance giant assures me do not exist. 'We are taking steps to get this removed,' it told me.
Claims by APS Estates need to be taken with a huge pinch of salt and landlords, as well as homebuyers and sellers, should choose an estate agent that belongs to the NAEA." this is taken from this website

hi all i have an update i have been keeping contact with my local trading standards n have found out something interesting.
The company number is real, and the company APS FINANCIAL SERVICES LIMITED which is located in Richmond, Surrey is real, HOWEVER, we have all been scammed as i have found out that the managing director of APS FINACIAL SERVICES LIMITED isn't MR IAN WILKIE as someone stated on a previous page the real managing director of the company is a MR PETER FRY, and the company is NOT a loan company it is a financial broker company, they do NOT have a credit license. MR FRY was so worried he contacted trading standards and obviously found out the truth as to what was going on.
The police are now investigating this matter as it is fraud, MR IAN WILKIE has been passing off the company as APS FINANCE(which is how it is stated on their website) to gain our money. I have e-mailed the police who are dealing with the case and my local trading standards has also informed Richmond Trading standards.
I have been given a CRIME REFERENCE number but i do NOT know if this reference number is one for my local police or if its for all of us0 -
hi all i today also got a silver payment card can anyone tell me if its safe or not to send over the money:whistle: dododo just wondering around finding something to do.0
-
I also received a silver payment card.
I've e-mailed to ask - will I see a credit agreement to sign? and when can I expect my money.
To which the answers were - when you activate your card that acts as a signature and the money will be transferred to my bank the same day if before 4pm or next day.
I rang today as well as I wanted to check they had my bank details - I was on hold for 20 mins from a MOBILE!!!!
Seems dodgy to e - anyone actually received any money
If they are dodgy, I can't believe they are still trading?0 -
So you two idiots above have just read through FOUR pages which clearly demonstrate it is a complete scam but you are going for it anyway??
You never know chaps, they might just be genuine, especially for you! They wouldn't rip you two off now would they??
Here, have a facepalm each..
Craigmc- There is a good reason they are still ripping people off. It is because despite the overwhelming publicity of their scam, there are people so stupid they still decide to go for it anyway.0
