  • I too activated my card on thursday and have received all the same e-mails as you guys, until just now i was still a little hopeful of receiving my loan(stupidly)but i have just found a post by somebody else on this forum but under a different question who also activated his card. This unfortunately was done 3 weeks before xmas and he still hasnt got his money,so im affraid we have all deffinately been conned.
  • If any of you have paid the fee by credit card, it is worth contacting them just in case they are able to help. Although generally it's only purchases over £100 which are covered, sometimes they will be willing to help to retrieve the money. Not something I've had experience of myself, but something that Trading Standards told me a couple of weeks ago.

  • Hi All, I think we have waited long enough for APS to honour their agreement.
I have just contacted my local Trading standards office and reported this company. She has not heard of them before but knew of the setup due to other online loand companies running the same scam.
Apparently there are a few companies like this...especially in the Bournemouth area.
So ...what you have to do is to write a letter to APS stating you have contacted Trading standards and that you are going to contact the police. Give them 7 days to reply.Demand your £35 back plus compensation. If you get no reply within the time frame then go back to the Trading standards and they will try to do something from there end.
I cannot believe I fell for this scam. I am absolutely furious.

One word of advice from Trading Standards.....online financial companies, unless well known...should not be trusted.
  • I have this morning done this via e-mail giving them 7 days, will also be following this up with a letter. If i do not receive anything in this time period I will be going to the police.I think we should all do the same.we cant let them get away with this.

It takes longer to type an email out than it does to hit the Delete Key.

NEVER deal via email, everything in writing posted recorded delivery.

Well the address on the bottom of my letter from them tht the card was attached to is ....

    1 The Green, Richmond, Surrey, TW9 1PL.

if any1 had the same letter.........it's pointless writing to them at this address as there is no number 1 ....... lol the FSO told me.

I have just gone to the "companieshouse" website......has info on every registered company in the UK... this is the info they have on them

    http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/b2f8863ce127bab434e997171fb82dc1/compdetails
