LMAO...........this is getting ridiculous......anyways.....no refund/loan/email/call/woteva..........Anyways here's what i did.....see if you lot get any joy.

TAKE A SCAN/PIC/COPY, ANYWAY YOU CAN OF THE LETTER YOU HAD FROM APS , THE ACTUAL CARD (FRONT) , AND THE RECEIPT YOU HAD FROM THE POST OFFICE !

    1. Call APS GROUP - "prepaid mastercard" cust servs (as it prob say's on everyones Post Office receipt?)......0871 277 5599
..... explain to them that you have paid a £35 chaps fee for a loan from aps financial services limited......(APS GROUP don't know who they are).....they will take ur info.....give you their email address and prob ask you to send them a scan/copy of the card and receipt. (make sure to take the persons name who you speak to) and just for reference, note times/dates of any calls/emails etc.

    2. Call the Financial Service Ombudsman 0845 080 1800
Basically explain the same thing to them, They should take down your info, give you a reference number, and tell you they will send a letter to APS demanding they give you a response, they should also send copies/info as to what they are doing, apparently APS will have 8weeks to respond (sounds ages i know, but i had a response the next day).....if they don't respond then a formal complaint can be lodged against them............(apparently, you may even be able to get the costs of calls/letters etc to APS refunded, some sorta compo ;) .

(calls to both these numbers are local/free depending on your Mobile/Landline package)............... and remember...........TAKE EVERYONES NAME THAT YOU SPEAK TO, AND NOTE TIMES/DATES OF CONVO'S FOR REFERENCE........AND ANY EMAILS/SCANS/LETTERS YOU SEND............MAKE SURE YOU KEEP A COPY FOR YOUR OWN RECORDS.

Sorry this has been so long.....just getting fed up of them ripping people off now.....hope this helps :D:D:D xx let me know if you have any joy ppl xx GL.
  • Thanks sophie

just rang them , i gave them the 16 digit ref no off my receipt ( she asked for something that resembled a card no ) only to be told this card doesnt belong to me , so basically i have loaded £35 on to someone elses pre-paid card arrrgggghhhh so annoyed now.

i have forwarded letter receipt etc to them so will have to wait and see what sort of a reply i get .

i think we can safely say this is a SCAM !!

APS Prepaid Mastercard have no association with "APS FINANCIAL SERVICES LIMITED"..........They don't even know who they are.........so don't be mad at them....as far as i can see it's a scam....they are just posing as a partner/sister company/affiliate of APS GROUP and APS Prepaid Mastercard.

here is my most recent reply from "APS FINANCIAL SERVICES LIMITED"

    Dear Customer,

The Post Office have advised us this morning that payments made at the post
office on the 18th, 19th and 20th of February will not be received and
processed until Wednesday the 24th of February.

All customers who activated their cards on these days will have their
transfer charges automatically refunded as a goodwill gesture.

Several customers have emailed us copies of their receipts as proof of
activation. This is not necessary. Our aim of confirming a card activation
is not to see whether you have paid your fee, but to ensure your payment
card is working properly to prevent problems when you attempt to repay your
    loan.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused, and thank you for your continued
    patience.

    Yours Faithfully
    Ian Wilkie

    Managing Director
    APS Financial Services LTD
