You have undoubtedly been scammed of your money. Join the rest of them on here who are in the same position. Search for posts regarding application fees, broker fees etc. You should get some info to help you reclaim.

Oddly enough on their Loans page

    http://www.apsfinance.co.uk/loans/
    • Borrow £250 to £15,000
    • Repay over 1 to 15 years
    • We’ll still consider you if you:
      • Rent (unfurnished)
      • Have CCJs and arrears
      • Are unemployed on benefits
      • Are bankrupt
    • There are NO application or broker fees as you deal direct
    • Repayments monthly or weekly at any PayPoint
    • Friendly UK call centres
    • Optional payment holiday
    • Ideal for debt consolidation, home improvements and holidays.
Maybe you have applied through some sneaky different department.

EDIT: Ahhh the penny just dropped it was a CHAPS fee (too quick to make assumptions!!). CHAPS is normal to pay for for a rapid delivery of funds.
  • been searching for info on them on internet but not come up with anything yet.

i was on hold to them yesterday for an hour but didnt get through. i only have one contact number for them , they looked alright on the internet which is why i applied., i have dealth with some that have charged £70 just to process your loan which i have avoided. I have been so silly in payin the £35 for a chaps payment, but then again i was sure it would be ok as i have paid the same for a chaps payment before and everything was fine so i assumed that this was it was standard if you wanted funds the same day .

A CHAPs fee to get the money quicker isn't an application or broker fee though. A lot of companies use this sort of arrangement to do a same day processing of the funds.

(not saying that APS are reputable though - never heard of them)

There is a legitimate company called APS Financial Ltd. They provide the Cashplus prepaid Mastercard, which has generally received positive reviews.
  • yes i have seen them , funnily enough when i handed over the £35 yesterday which was to be paid at the post office with my swipe card that they sent me to repay the loan. on the receipt it states prepaid mastercard. i wonder if they are part of the same thing

Hope its just a glitch and your money comes through (if it does make sure you ask for the CHAPs payment back).

Are you ringing a number and chosing an option to talk to them about an existing application? if so choose the new application number and you might find you get through much quicker!

  • I too may have been duped.I got the letter from APS FINANCIAL SERVICES LTD 2 days ago.I took the loan repayment card to Post office and they swiped it and i payed the 35 quid.I havn't heard anything yet so i was thinking it could well be a scam.I rang them twice but was on hold for ages so i gave up with that.I emailed them but no reply so it probably is dodgy. The only bonus i suppose is i didn't give them my bank account details and chose to have a so called agent deliver the money to me.Shouldn't think that will happen now after reading some of these comments on here.Just wish i had read them first.
  • its just one number (no choices) just says that your are in a queue and your call will be answered shortly. i still have had no joy with a reply to the email i sent them.

hi saharawinds how long ago did you get your card swiped??

did mine yesterday so i am not holding out any hope x

  • arrghhhh so annoying isn't it.

i was lookin on internet before cam across a bloke that has done the same that was four days ago and he has heard nothing so defo a scam i think x

think the only way to get to them is to write to their address, but i wouldnt hold out much hope on that either seen as they not answering phone or replying to e-mails.

they are part of another group which is based in texas
