Well my big gardening plans are on hold for this year. Hubby left yesterday so got too much to sort out to be thinking about masses of fruit, veg and flowers. :(

The things i've started I will carry on with, but I'll not be starting any new sowing now, other than carrot.(Cos i can bung them in and forget about them!).:o

Megan should get plenty of strawberrys and blueberrys this year so she'll be happy. The lottie is covered so that can sit till next year too! Hope all my seeds will be ok to use next year - with all my big plans i've loads of them!

Lost all motivation and excitement now.................................. b****y men!

Oh dear, I am so sorry to read this. Please know that you and your daughter will be in my thoughts and prayers.

elantan : Nemaslug (http://www.nemasysinfo.com/) apparently it really works. It does cost a fair whack though. But I have an infestation, not a problem. hoping to keep it down

from what i saw miskool you dont order them till you need them ... how would that work though ? by the time they arrived it might be too late ... it deff looks intriguing though ... wonder if you can keep some for breeding purposes for the next year etc ... kinda like kefir (still cant drink that stuff ... have bought it so many times now to try and just cant manage)

elantan: yup, you only order it when you need it. the soil needs to be above 5C otherwise the bugs don't live. You can keep it in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. I'm not sure how you would grow nematodes? I just need something to blast the slugs and show them who's boss :D

Can I join too?!? Startong growing veg for the first time. Have also started one of them strawberry pots and planted rhubarb.

Was thinking about doing runner beans, lettuce, tomatoes in a basket, raspberries and a couple of bits and bobs!

    So excited!
