How did you get yours? I asked for one with the wheelie bins and just got the wheelie bins ... Those would go great in my teeny tiny patio yard.spendy/she/her ***DEBT-FREE DATE: 11 NOVEMBER 2022!*** Highest debt: £35k (2006) MY WINS: £3,541 CASH; £149 Specsavers voucher; free eye test; goody bag from Scottish Book Trust; tickets to Grand Designs Live; 2-year access to Feel Amazing App (worth £100); Home Improvement & Renovation Show tickets; £50 to spend on chocolate; Harlem Globetrotters tickets; Jesus Christ Superstar tickets + 2 t-shirts; Guardians of the Galaxy goody bag; Birmingham City v Barnsley FC tickets; Marillion tickets; Dancing on Ice tickets; Barnsley FC v Millwall tickets0 -
Hey all
my cherriettes of fire tomatoes are now starting to swing into action. I only grew them because I loved the name but they seem to have a lot of flowers on them. Also my black cherry toms are coming along too! Woohoo! Will take some photos later for you all to see
Hope you are all having a good day! Oh.... also if you remember my gooseberry/redcurrant disaster.....well turns out they are blackcurrants..... I really must keep the labels on things!
Shelvis- I just feel about and see if I can feel a potato big enough LOLFeb GC: £200 Spent: £190.790 -
Izzwhiz- with your aubergines I found last year when I grew them for the first time that there are flowers with thin stalks and some with thicker stalks. The thin ones tended to fall off whilst the thicker ones turned into aubergines with a little help from the paintbrush. After a bit I could tell which ones would fall off.
Can I ask a silly question?I have an aubergine plant with one flower on it at the moment. I can't see any more that are about to pop up. How will I pollinate it so that it turns into an aubergine? Do I have to hope for a bee to come over, or do I need to use a paintbrish on itself'?!:rotfl:
thanks!

I also have same problem with butternut squash no male flowers but loads of female ones, have left greenhouse door open and they seem now to be growing although only very small 50 pence piece size so am praying that the bees have done some magic on them :j:j:j0 -

I'm having this problem too, and nobody near me is growing veg so I may well not end up with any if my flowers don't sort themselves out! I wonder what classes as 'nearby' in bee-land, because there are allotments about half a mile away from me......0 -
