Travel Agents must get people coming in all the time, changing their plans and destinations. I'm sure they are not going to question why you want a different quote from previously.
Quick warning though, the ESA travel agents do have a central database, so when you give them your postcode they will see all previous records for that postcode. ESA told me before I did a run of 6 travel agents, that they had separate systems, but it turned out not to be the case. I could see the previous quotes on the screen in the third one. Switched to my parents' postcode after that. :o

So if you are doing lots for them, then you need to have alternative postcodes / names on the tip of your tongue.

I feel like that for the electrical shops, fortunately there are so many staff in there I can always move away from one I may have MS'd before.

They probably think I am mad, always asking about something, never buying, except for a gift card!!

Like I said...I'm an outsider, never visited either of them...Glasgow has a reputation, as Liverpool does, as Manchester does, as Belfast does, etc etc, so based PURELY on that, I'd have opened my store in Edinburgh over Glasgow. HOWEVER, I'm far more intelligent than to choose the location of my new store based soly upon [historic/outdated] reputations.

I did a MS'ing flight to Belfast last year. It is an excellent city to shop in now and to visit. Liverpool is fab as well.

as you can tell, i really want to make some pennies lol

WOW, you really have signed up to everybody...!! The only advice I can give you is that I have been MS'ing for 6 month's now and do approximately 5 - 10 assignments per week. I have yet to pick up a single job from using the Alerts thread, generally because they are not area specific and I often check to find that the jobs on offer are on the other side of the country..

But you also need to be checking the sites direct during the day to check for the jobs that don't make it to the Alerts thread... 99% of my work come's from doing this.

That's interesting. I find the Alerts thread very useful, particularly for Abai, as I think they tend to upload the whole country at the same time. If you can get to a new batch of jobs before the Alert, then it's even better but it saves on the work of checking all the different sites every few hours, if we work together with the alerts.
