The jobs always seem miles away.

I have heard of match better but must admit i've avoided reading, purley because i used to be a manager at a bookies. Just a little independant but i can quite honestly say that having to take and mark every single bet off by hand (no fancy computers) i learned that the phrase 'the bookie always wins' was certainly 100% correct.

All the customers bragged of their wins, their systems, knowledge etc and i know fine well they never came off better lol

I may have a little read tomorrow. I know my horse racing but as for any other sports i'm crap lol
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

Whoa - just had a blast from the past whilst checking my Helion profile - list of places under "have you eaten at any of these in last year" question:

    "Buffalo Grill"

Jeeez, I remember eating at one of these during a long break in Paris a few years ago...hapy memories! :)

Even I don't remember that far back.:rotfl:What bit of the profile is that on. I will need to get to grips with it.

Guys, what did you think about Helion test?
I managed to fail twice answering 77% correctly. So far, wasn't given a chance to do it for the third time...
Usually I pass from the first attempt. Is the test rather difficult or is it just that I am too tired these days? :-)

How much do you need to score to pass? 100%?

Indeed, you'll never see a poor bookie, and I've met dozens in my time (used to work in the racing industry), but you'll never find a poor MBer either (ok, not strictly true, but it does work, you just need to read it many times to understand it 100% before taking the plunge - once you've done your first few, you'll see how simple it can be).

    80% is the pass mark.

I thought the test was pretty good. Just make sure you're reading all of the answer options before selecting what you think are the right answers.

Yes, that happens to me from time to time as well. These days, I try to grab the nearest one (most convenient) first. Later, I check if I can take more jobs.
