Quick warning though, the ESA travel agents do have a central database, so when you give them your postcode they will see all previous records for that postcode. ESA told me before I did a run of 6 travel agents, that they had separate systems, but it turned out not to be the case. I could see the previous quotes on the screen in the third one. Switched to my parents' postcode after that. :o

So if you are doing lots for them, then you need to have alternative postcodes / names on the tip of your tongue.

Thanks for that I'm doing 5 this week and was wondering if its a central database

Something similar happened to me once. I just said " Oh was my twin in here...gosh she never said...we are always getting mistaken for each other"

I got away with it. I went all dressed up for the 2nd and said that twin of mine is a scruffy madam.

I do change my appearance if I have to do shops close together.

jeans and t-shirt or business trousers/skirt and blouse
have very long hair so can have various styles
can wear glasses or contact lenses
heavy make up or go nude
    and so on.

If you haven't got adaptable hair, you could wear a hat. I hate hats and loathe wearing them though :o

That's interesting. I find the Alerts thread very useful, particularly for Abai, as I think they tend to upload the whole country at the same time. If you can get to a new batch of jobs before the Alert, then it's even better but it saves on the work of checking all the different sites every few hours, if we work together with the alerts.

abai def don't upload cat jobs for whole country in one go as they do my area days later normally! v annoying as i am sitting hitting refresh for days :( i have noticed they tend to add a few more pages on over hours or days. would be good if they did it all in one go though!

i think alert thread is very good, get loads of jobs from it. used to get loads when re did evening uploads but hardly see anything on there now :(

    Sorry, had to be done!

    :rotfl:

I have been semi nude on mystery shops before

Done loads of bra shops and I just let the assistant stay in while I'm swopping between bras. Also did a plastic surgery consultation, so had to strip to my undies and let a nurse poke my "mothers apron" and explain how they could get rid of it with a tummy tuck. The things we have to do :rotfl:

Did feel sorry for the poor allocator on that one. She was having to ring people up and ask if they thought they needed plastic surgery :o

I just say I've changed my mind and no one ever bats an eyelind. unlike in the bookies when I was trying to covertly grab all the coupons before I left....

The point I was making for this particular quote was that the poster stated they refreshed the alert's thread all day but didn't mention checking the sites.. Over the last 2 days I have picked up 5 jobs not shown on the Alerts at all.. they are area specific (often just one/two jobs) hence why I have not posted an alert for them.. Just suggesting she may wish to do this as well....

No offence meant to the Alerts fan club...! :T

I find the alerts are great for some sites like Abai, Gap, RE, TNS that release the jobs in waves and where it's FFF. Others, like GfK, I always check the sites as most of the jobs I've got from them seem to show up in ones and twos and have never been on the alerts.
