Yes, I think I'll try the one for me and one for the family type of thing.
I'll still look like a head case though lol.
Thanks.0 -
I've just realised I'm doing 6 travel shops in the next week TWICE......ie two different scenarios for two different companies.
Is this ethical?
In my defence, I booked some of them weeks ago and some just recently, knowing they were the same towns but not that they were the same shops.
I don't want to look bad and cancel some of them, but on the other hand, how do I look convincing on two totally different scenarios?
And advice guys?
I've done this! I visited one shop on one weekend and followed one of the scenarios for one company. The following weekend, I returned and followed the scenario for the second ms company. If asked, just say that your partner had changed his mind and fancied going somewhere else.0 -

I always ask to be a spare etc of not selected and really polite on emails etc just so they know i'm nice and professional. just a case of building my reputation up and keep going back
i'm really little. only 23 so just 7 years off the cars on Bare lol plus when i pull up in my 1996 Corsa i don't think there going to take me seriously lol
Have you got a partner that could accompany you on the BARE car jobs?? Maybe get him/her to drive and you could say that you've had to give up your company car, but have been compensated (would explain some of the cash nicely). That way you can say the "old banger" is "his/her old shed" and you'd "not be seen dead driving THAT thing".
23 and "really little" (and I'm assuming very young-looking? - lucky you!) may be a little too far away from BARE allocating you some of them, but if you don't ask you don't get!!0 -
Just a thought about the two travel agent visits - might be better to go the following day. Reason being, some MS companies are VERY quick to send the reports to the client, so leave it until the end of the week as I suggested, or even the following weekend, might make things VERY awkward if they've already received the report and been given feedback on it.0

I do look a little young apparently (get ID enough times)
The partner is the same age and he hates that i have started M/Shopping. Not quite as outgoing and doesn't like to make a fuss so got no chance lol
Not to worry. something to look forward to when i 'grow up'
Off to go cleaning (another of my random little jobs to make some pennies) so if i don't reply, i shall be backI get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0 -

Ah, you'll be thankful when you're 40 and people think you're 21 lol!!0 -

If you mean the store I think, then it's in Edinburgh due to snobbery. the owners thought having an Edinburgh store sounded better. If they had done any research then they would have put it in Glasgow. The average Weegie is more clothes and brand aware than the average Burgher.
Or they used to be. I'm a long time out of Glasgow now. Would say it was certainly that way when I first moved east. may have changed.0
