Similar here. My parents, IL's and grandmother all live in the same village but each a 7-8 minute walk away each in a different direction. We are also not a constantly popping in family which helps.

Someone I knew, her parents were going to build 2 houses on their land each for one of their daughters and families. Now that would be my idea of hell. Can't decide which I'd like less to live so close to my parents and sister or to my husband's parents and sister.:eek:
