Rainbow, we'll be filming at the house in about a week or two's time for the Nick Knowles show (DIY SOS) I think. I'll be the fit looking bird in the sunglasses :rotfl:

Honey don't disappear, it takes days to read through the whole of this thread, you're not the first to make a post offering help that has already been tried, you won't be the last. You're very welcome here, one problem may have been solved but we have a bigger battle looming, all support is most welcome and appreciated. :)

I didn't mean to offend anyone, I'm probably just as likely to get the odd misunderstanding on the thread I have just started for myself today. DFW Story So Far.......

I have been trying to catch up on reading the thread but with so much going on in my own mess, I hadn't been able to read all the posts and really would love to know how Mike is doing. How did he get on with the BBC, has he been able to get any work done on the house yet etc etc etc

I was bowled over last week when someone gave me a small roll of carpet! I am sure my simple needs (hot tub, sauna and home cinema) will be more than met.

This is such a result for us all...

I will find out on Wednesday if they want people to be around to help the crew and be filmed and interviewed and when. This is optional! But it would be great if as many of you as possible can take part somehow and be on t'telly.


The housewarming I promised is still going to happen...

... it's just going to be about three years earlier than I thought.

mike is getting the dream house courtesy of diy SOS and some of the gang from here are partaking in some Hollywood action and the big reveal will be in June the date escapes me lol but all in all some good people sent alot of emails and it got us along way :-) x

Rainbow, thanks for coming back, we are all really quite mad and I'm certain Maty's comment was said in jest with no sarcastic undertones intended. If you can manage to read the whole thread you will see how the mood between the regular posters changes as we got to "know" each other. It's now become a bit of a "give as good as you get" thread (in the nicest possible terms you understand). We've all laughed and cried together and I guess it's easy to make a quick witty comment which can be taken as sarcastic by someone new to posting here. Please don't take it as it was typed, take it as a welcome to the thread.

Awww bless! No one is either offended or offensive here! There is sometimes confusion caused but I won't mention any names...........for fear of incriminating myself!
