Mr Micawber was in David Copperfield by Charles Dickens (& no, I am not that well read but it was essential sunday evening viewing when I was growing up - thank you BBC!)

So sorry to hear that you have had such an awful knockback :( and really hope that you find your way back to an even keel soon.

Fingers crossed I will with the help of FOS

Well done Mike, a fantastic summary :j Complete with the humour we have grown to love :j

By the way I believe Tena do some products that may help the embarrassing moments :D

And this MSE'r has her room booked :j

Have you been banned from the thread for the duration of the build?

Not as far as I know, but having got this far, and with so many people giving time and effort, it would be a shame if anyone said anything the boys and I shouldn't hear until the 18th.

Plus they'd be off my Christmas card list, and they wouldn't want that!

So yes, I'll be around as much as I can, and PLEASE don't anyone let anything slip! At the moment I know nothing beyond what I've discussed with the team, and I'd like to enjoy the surprise. As would the boys. It's as much for them as me.

Just watched an episode with the grannies from Kingston and their dining room. Enjoyed it as always, but had tears running down my cheeks. It's sooooooo weird to think I'll be standing here with Nick's hand on my shoulder in 18 days' time!

Could someone lend me a Tena please?

Hmmm... A cunning plan you say Mike?

I am forming a cunning plan myself.......

How far does your dodgy builder live from yours?

I'm wondering how he would take loads of people (us MSE'ers) turning up at his house and just standing outside admiring it, maybe even taking a few photos of it?

Do you think that would go some way to putting the woolies up him? I think even if it didn't, it might be a fun thing to do! lol

    Poo

You lot can do what you feel best... I cannot be involved, sadly!

But if it happens, I want copies of the pictures!

That entire break down is fantastic and haven't stopped smiling since I read the bit where you wet yourself. Your mood has changed dramatically from the first few pages and I bet you can't believe what a difference a few months on MSE has made. It certainly has to me since I began posting and following Niddy's guidance.

Hope all your dreams and hopes for the future come to fruition.

Fingers crossed mine do to.... awaiting a PCT decision about funding on an op I need - should get the yes/no in the next week or so. Mid June could be exciting for all of us.

Your problems are important to us all too. I expect you'll be PMd by a few people wishing you well. They're nice like that.

Wishing you a big positive change in your circumstances.

Don't think a Tena will help your tears :rotfl:

But if you are after the £ Sterling type ask me on the 18th :D
