Good job I hadn't just taken a swig of coffee - you'd be getting a bill for a new monitor/keyboard!t

The work is being done from 9th to 18th June. The finished job will be revealed to Mike on the 18th. I'm sure Mike posted somewhere previously that it will be aired when the programme schedulers decide. So watch this space.

Hi Mike,

I came across your thread whilst I was searching through posts for help to help get me out of the pit of debt I find myself in...and well got a bit uurrrmmm side tracked...

I saw you on the one show and only when I got a few pages in I realised it was you...

I’ve just finished reading the thread from start to finish..(admittedly skim read some posts..(come on 3081 is a lot of posts) its made me cry, laugh out loud, shake my head all sorts...(hubbly must now officially think I’m loopy).There was even a out loud “YES” when I read the news that DIYSOS were paying you a visit.( I love the program). Even your coming out on P7 didn’t deter me…. although signing your first post Mike should have been a clue you was a bloke..

I really do hope this faecal matter of a builder gets what he’s due, There has to be laws put in place to protect us hard working common people from cretins like him. I hope you get your money back in a time frame that allows you to make the most of it.

With 9 days and counting you must be bursting with excitement and emotion…

I can’t wait to see the show I’ll be planning a proper evening in, champers and nibbles the works...are the one show doing a follow up?

I am in admiration at the way you have managed to keep a cheery persona through out all this and can see how the tone of your posts has just got lighter and lighter you sound almost a different man in just 16 weeks.....

I imagne it'll be a while before you can look back and reflect...hopefully the dark time will soon be all but forgotten.

It’s heart warming to know there are still good decent people out there and most of them seem to be MSE’ers….You lot should be very proud of yourselves and deserve a very big pat on the back from Mr Lewis himself…

Welcome to the thread MrsD and congratulations on reading it all the way through.

We are all very excited about Mikes Big Build. Some of us are heading down there to help and to celebrate with Mike (or just party).

Please continue to follw this thread. We're hoping to continue after the reveal and try to help others who have been ripped off by dodgy builders or better still, help people become more aware of these despicable people and avoid getting ripped off.

Neville's 'away' at the moment, I think. Haven't seen him, no postcards, he hasn't called... when he does turn up he's in for a big surprise - I've moved house.

He'll have to find some other sucker to make with the sugar puffs. I sort of keep hoping I'll see him, which says rather too much about my rubbish social life.

I'm hooked now...I read about the invasion...it seems to have required logistics that would baffle the british army!...

I'd love to come and help or even just to see it all coming together on the last day for Mike..but I have a 9 month old so I'll probably not make it, but I do hope its everything and more you wanted for your home..

I cant imagne you've much time for a social life at the mo what with you about to become a TV superstar ...just you wait till its all complete.

I hope the drinking establishments are preparing themselves for the invasion of the MSE'ers...plus I think the "SOS" gand are partial to a bevvy or two!!

:A Man tries to thank MSErs for all they've done and fails.

Man reveals a cunning plan to force builder to sell his house and repay some of the people whose lives he destroyed.

:T MSErs create website to help and support people who have been ripped off by crooks

:beer: Man's life restored, gets off incapacity benefit, starts working again, finds love and replaces car sold to pay for electrical and plumbing work.

Totally agree with you Mrs D I still maintain they should make a film of all this.
