mortgage payer for 8 years, never missed a payment on anything ever, no debt at all other than mortgage, salary 40k a year and they wont give me a 30 quid a month phone contract!!! mental!!!0 -
Delighted went into CPhttp://mobiletech.knguyentu.com/2009/11/motorola-droid-setting-up-yahoo-mail.htmlW today and upgraded through them instead seeing as Orange are mucking about. Why are they telling us different things?!
anyways got 24 month contract £30 p.m. 500mb internet, 500 mins and unltd texts. Also get loyalty discount which at the moment is 10% but think it'll go up to 15% now? Also get home broadband free through orange so quite happy to stick with them. Paid nothing for the handset and got the last one in the shop!!
So happy...3G sim not on yet though so trying to be patient....also can't get yahoo mail to work? Been googling though so hopefully will manage soon but to be honest I could live or change email address.
Thanks everyone on this thread!! Hope everyone gets the deals etc. they want!! xxxWhat's fur ye won't go by ye!0 -
I have a shiny new HTC desire from Tmobile - Fleet (Hampshire) store. It was the last one until next delivery0

I pick one up tomorrow from my local T-Mobile shop (the last one they had). £164 for the phone plus £10 per month for 100 minutes, 100 texts, free flexible booster (I'll take unlimited landline calls) and unlimited internet with a 3GB fair use policy (24month contract). Seems not bad for a total cost of £404?There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.
Wth every precious smile you make. And every act of kindness.

Pretty sure; bank holidays aren't such a big deal up here. I tried to buy one in another town today and they'd just sold their last one so they called my local store who had one left. The assistant (whilst on the phone) asked if I was collecting today or tomorrow and when I confirmed tomorrow, she passed that info to the local store and they advised that they were open between 12 and 4. They might have forgotten, but I doubt it (and hope not). There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.

We are mostly heathens north of the border.
I'll find out if that applies to T-Mobile shop staff tomorrow ...There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.

I got one at my local t-mobile shops today too. They had 20 delivered yesterday. When I walked in at 11am this morning they had 3 left. Someone else also bought one while I was there...the phones are almost walking out of their own accord!
Does anyone know....can you open new browser tabs on the browser that is bundled with it? It doesn't seem possible to click on a link and open it in a new tab?0 -
Htc has already announced an OTA update for Desire, not sure whether to get one or wait until HTC sorts out some issues.0
