    A no-spend-day for me again today but I have made a vast pan of butternut squash soup and ten litres of laundry gloop.

    I got a breadmaker for free from freecycle! I'm dead pleased can't wait to get it going later!

    a promise of some free cabbage pants from a friend as shes sowed a ot and they've all germinated. And a huge pot of snowdrops from her twhich i've just planted in the garden.

    Got given a Herman friendship cake starter, and 3 brussel sprout plants.
    Last night loaned my slow cooker to a friend who has moved into a cottage on her own and doesn't have a cooker...also gave her a Vax which just needs a hose. Went to see her new place, and while she popped out to buy a curry for her removals guys (friends) I lit tea lights all round her fireplace and with some help from a few other folk we gave the place a quick straighten up.
