I've been away and counted...I've got 60 DVDs on my to watch pile *hangs head in shame* how wrong was I about it not being too many! Some of them are TV Series so will take a while to watch...but I'm on the last disc of Criminal Minds season 5 so hopefully that will be watched in the next day or so!

Finished watching Criminal Minds Season 5 this evening. When it first started I really wasn't interested, despite a couple of people suggesting it to me as something I might enjoy...Now I'm hooked!! So that's 1 down, 59 to go!

I'm currently stuck in season 1 of "The Wire" and a double disc of Korean historical drama, both I find hard-going....
I also have to catch up with "Happy Valley" and "In the Flesh" before BBC takes them off the iplayer in a few days!

While working last night I finished watching season 6 of Criminal Minds and started on season 7. It distracts me a bit but it stops it being quiet all the time!!

Season 7 of Criminal Minds is now finished! With a few tears (not unusual at all for me!) and a new TV as my old one was playing up. I must admit though to buying 3 new DVDs which does to be fair cancel out the 3 I've already watched! Now the apparently never ending stream of paper work is completed I'll hopefully manage to watch a bit of something to wind down most evenings!

    Hi everyone!

    It has been a while!

I have managed to get another Amazon Prime subscription for a month so I have (so far) watched the following:

    Gavin & Stacy (seasons 2 & 3): funny.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower: good, but not as good as the book. Not sure if I remember if the revelation about Aunt Helen at the end of the film happening in the book. Lots missing about the sister, but still good.
Driving Lessons: only watched it cos one of my favourite bands is on the soundtrack. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing amazing about it, either.

I have a few more days and lots I want to watch. I'll let you know how it goes. :)

Oh, and I've noticed that I never seem to get through the DVDs I actually own, so I have taken drastic action and I have decided to cancel my TV licence for a while to 'encourage' me to deal with them. Get me for proactivity! (It's also :money:!)

Watched Bridget Jones: the Edge of Reason the other day while busy doing other things. I've seen it before several times but never watched it on the DVD I own so it didn't take much concentration to follow it! Still crosses another off the list though, and is now on the pile for charity shop!

I've just watched The Bling Ring.

Fun and light - ideal to watch while doing something else - but a bit vacuous, much like the girls in it.

Sophia Coppella doesn't half make some chic-lit films (and that's not a compliment).

I've watched Pitch Perfect this afternoon. I've seen it before but on borrowed DVD not my own. I needed something fun and easy going and it did the trick. I was going to (finally) start watching Glee Season 4 only to discover that it still had the red security lock thing in it. So I've had to hunt for the receipt so they'll remove it for me tomorrow...no mean feat when I've had it since November!! I've also had another count up and I've now got 59 DVDs to watch so I'm going to update my signature!

No idea when I actually watched it...possibly Sunday night...Basil the Great Mouse Detective I was in the mood for a Disney film. Not the best but it was one I'd never seen before. Meaning I could cross one off my list! I'm slowly working my way through season 8 of Criminal Minds but it's taking a while!
