Should I take it to the court today - I mean, what if the LA 'mistakenly' mistyped part of the address to lead me up the garden path?

Prepared to take time off work to go to the court if you think I should do it now - have no option but to trust the letting agent fax?

Send an email to agent confirming address (paper trail) and take it to court as soon as you can.

Try this postcode tool and see if it's a valid address.

and mentioning you're telling the court they have given you the address... I'd be even tempted to query which of her pseudonyms they use and get it in writing they are aware of multiple names...

I'd still grass her up to inland revenue - but I'm not a nice person :)

I went to the court on a break, as it is close by and the un-helpful clerk would not let me add it to the case as I don't know the court case number. The last time I had to do it the clerk did it no problem.

Will write letter tonight - should I add extra expenses at this stage? Was thinking £6 for land registry research and £10 for phonecalls and faxes.

He he - thanks guys - seems address is real enough so I will take letter to court, with court number, tomorrow - any thoughts on whether I should mention the £6 + £10 expenses on that letter? x

To let you in on a secret, this is our imaginary puppy! Yes, that's right! Living in Brighton we have no room for a real puppy, so we have an imaginary one instead and Mr EL even pretends it eats snacks that go 'missing'.

We'd love to own one... needless to say, we would loooove to buy next time not rent again :D Cue First Time buyer violins :rotfl:
