Hi wizzkid, sorry too late for those but I think that the LL will find that hard to prove as if we were the flat would have looked worse and also there would have been letters from letting agent throughout tenancy complaining about noise/dirty flat? We work full time and she never had cause to complain.MFW #185

Thanks all!
We moved in in May 2005 but have managed to find statements from October 2005 to May 2006. have highlighted each one with yellow pen and will only take the relevant pages that show payments to letting agent each month. We paid every single month, on time.
We were talking just now and reckon she will deny that Royal Mail tried to deliver anything on 15th May or that no slip was left by them so she could not pick anything up, trying to delay things until another date.
The thing is how do we convince the judge this is a delaying tactic, if that's what she says? We can only say that all past letters from us have been rejected, no matter what address we wrote to, yet letters from letting agent were received. We can also say that letters we sent via 1st class in the past were never returned to us so were delivered.
Shame we did not send the bundle via 1st class as well, but we weren't to know she would play games with a Special Delivery item.MFW #185

As you wanted wild and evil things the LL could do:
Perhaps she will describe you as a fanatical moneysaver that will do anything to claw back money that you don't deserve - using this very forum for evidence.
I doubt she even knows about it, but hey it crossed my mind, good luck0 -
Good luck EL - been following this thread avidly. Really rooting for you! :j0
